Huh? It's sort of a pink-brown. Not really deep red at all to me. Pretty close to grenat, maybe a hair more brown?

It's really raspberry or cranberry coloured!

Really? I don't see any brown in it at all. In fact I see the slightest bit of pink in it and actually I think it looks like a raspberry ... good enough to eat.

I feel they are different. Sanguine is a bit warmer brick red, while pourpre is a bit colder pink/purple red

Yes yes.. ita. Tad lighter than Grenat.. like Beaux said.. cran-Rasberry-ish indeed~! Not bad... sorta liking it now

^^I think so too. Sanguine was a touch more brown - but very close. Between sanguine and grenat maybe?

Rui, thank you for sharing the website/photos with us. I love this color. I hope it is like the crushed deep raspberry color that I want! From the photos, that is what I think it is! Ohhh, I'm really excited about this color. I have loved the 2009 colors, and I think this one may be my favorite. Can't wait to see IRL.

Strangely I think sanguine is brighter - i thought it was the other way around until I started looking at photos.
