Truly. I've only bought the micro bags so far, but even for that, the entire experience was just a dream of a luxury experience. No pretense, no games, simply someone passionate about a leatherworking, craftsmanship, and customer service.

Can't wait to see pictures of your bag!

This is what I LOVE about Peter Nitz…though I haven’t had the joy to work with him yet but hope to soon! I’m just so over the whole marketing shmarm/scam/game of luxury brands. I just want a bag exquisitely done without the hype and pretense.

I’ve just contacted Peter about a Dreamer for next year…it’s above my “typical” budget for a single purchase but think in the long term it would be worth it. @Rocat and @bagnut1 I’d love to hear how much you’re still loving and using your PN creations!

I absolutely love my Dream and Lorin bags! They are both in regular rotation and are a pleasure to carry. The quality of the workmanship is amazing and the designs are very functional as well. You will not be disappointed if you take the plunge!

Congrats on starting the process with Peter - I think you will find it to be a real pleasure working with him.

My bag is finished but one hardware component (a new design I think) of the strap is not yet in his hands. He offered me the choice of shipping the bag without the strap and the strap later, but I chose to wait for everything together (because, reasons ). Hopefully I will have it in a couple of weeks and look forward to using it and sharing my experiences here!

I am also curious for an update from @Rocat....

Thanks for the update!

Oh. My. God. Heaven!

My bag arrived today. Peter was so sweet about the strap clip delay and also sent me a charm for being patient! (Life lesson here - as my DH frequently points out, I am usually one of the least patient people on the planet.)

I knew when I ordered nubuck that I was not going to stress over making the nap perfect, so I didn’t do “prep” for these photos. (Peter’s IG images of the completed bag are very detailed and accurate, and show the nap more “groomed.”) The workmanship is really amazing - the overall feel in the hand and the attention to detail of the stitching, glazing, hardware, etc. are all on par with H and Ramesh-era Moynat.

The color is very complex and a bit chameleon. It’s deep and warm but can read black or near-black. And the charm is a work of art on its own! Also note that the logo and drawstring ends of the dust bag are done in my specific bag and lining leathers - talk about attention to detail!

More later after I have had her out for a bit…. (Also many thanks to @Rocat and @Hermesanity for sharing your bags and to @leechiyong for starting this thread!)

Congratulations - it is spectacular! I absolutely love the combination of materials - truly one of a kind. I cannot wait to hear what you think after you have had a chance to take her out for a spin. You are making me want another PN bag! Enjoy it!

I’ve been drooling over this bag on IG. The nubuck looks so lush. The micro complements the hues so well too!

I have to say it sends me over the moon every time I see a fellow tPFer reveal one of Peter’s bags. He’s such a joy to work with and the bags are absolute masterpieces.

Geez that’s one of the most stunning bags I’ve ever seen. The nap is a work of art and I’m sure it will age beautifully!

O.M.G. Stunning!!! I especially like the contrast of the slightly matte texture of the nubuck against the iridescence (or is it just the lighting?) of the leather. The colour is just gorgeous - would you mind sharing the name of the colour?

Thank you! The shine is due to lighting but it's akin to Clemence so I expect there may develop a patina over time. Both the nubuck and taurillon are in the color Carbon. The strap I am not sure of the name but it's his canvas in a very dark gray.

Hi everyone, my dream bag just arrived today (30cm for reference). I'd take pictures, but I think Peter did a great job on his IG page (it's the taupe bag with contrast white stitching). Echoing what others have shared, it's a beautifully constructed bag and the entire process was absolutely wonderful working with Peter!

On another note, has anyone who has the dream bag found a good bag insert for it? I'm a little cautious just kind of throwing things into it..
