Hi everyone, the mini Lorin is here! I am over the moon - she is beautiful and the workmanship is impeccable. The entire process was incredibly smooth and Peter has been incredibly accommodating.

I had wanted a tri-colour Rejane but never found a combination that spoke to me. Turns out I just needed to choose the colours myself! Special thanks to @Rocat for inspiring me with her beautiful terrazo calf Lorin!

Here are some pictures - I will post comparisons with the mini Rejane in a bit. I do anticipate the Lorin holding more than the Rejane.

I am still missing my strap as Peter is waiting to receive new hardware - but it will be bi-color with terrazo in one side and the graphite color on the other.
Spectacular! Enjoy!

The bespoke process is wonderful. I love how so much can be tailored to your specifications and the process is such a dream.

I love that you chose a darker handle for your hand-picked colours. Looks very cool and it's so practical too.

I have a light beige Gucci Bamboo Top-handle Bold. The Bold version has leather covered 'bamboo' and therefore I always have to be so careful not dirtying the handle's leather (never a problem with other versions of the bag - which is why I love the bamboo handle).

@Rocat - thanks again for all of your generous info about your Dream Bag and the whole process of working with Peter….. mine is on the way!
You are most welcome! It is so wonderful to be able to share our passion for handbags with each other here. You will love your Dream bag! I have had mine in regular rotation and it is a true pleasure to carry. Peter's work is so outstanding and being able to get exactly what you want is addictive. I want him to make more for me!

In addition to being obviously incredibly talented, he also seems to be a genuine nice soul.

Truly. I've only bought the micro bags so far, but even for that, the entire experience was just a dream of a luxury experience. No pretense, no games, simply someone passionate about a leatherworking, craftsmanship, and customer service.

Can't wait to see pictures of your bag!

I'm curious what kind of organizer you are using with your bag? I have a regular "system" (a small-ish organizer that I just move from bag to bag) but this bag will be more open than any of my others. Wondering if I need to find something different to corral everything.

I haven't found an ideal one yet. I use the 7RP organizers in my H bags and have been very happy with them. They are soft and don't leave dents/marks on the leather. I was thinking about asking Peter if he would be open to working with 7RP as a collaboration to make organizers that work with his designs. Or maybe another brand? I think there would be significant interest from those of us who love his bags! What do you think?

Well he is still making my bag so I can't really say until I've tried it with a Fourbi. I know 7RP inserts are very popular with the H crowd here on TPF. What I'm having trouble imagining is how the insert would interact with the flaps, but again this will probably be more obvious to me once I have the bag in hand (so to speak!).

I may even try it for starters with an Ikea felt insert (purchased a while back for a large tote to organize out-of-the-ordinary work stuff - it's gray so would blend in to the interior nicely). I also had a good experience with an Etsy insert vendor that did a fantastic custom one for me for an extremely large unlined tote. I don't love felt inserts with nice bags but since the Dream will be somewhat open it might even work as an insert for my regular insert, KWIM?

I'm sorry if I missed this earlier in the thread, but does he have a process outlined for working with him to create a bag? And does he have the designs listed somewhere? I would love to learn more! The Dream bag is truly dreamy!

You can look at his designs under the "bespoke bags" section of his website (peternitz.com). All bags are custom made to your specifications. You can email Peter through his website to start a conversation if you are considering working with him on a project. He responds to all emails personally and is a pleasure to work with. I hope this helps!
