Hi! That one is mine! It’s truly my absolute favorite bag- I have yet to find an outfit that it can’t match. And Peter is such a wonderful person to work with- it’s amazing to watch his creative genius come to life. I’ve visited the atelier a couple of times and he is truly just a sweetheart of a human being. Most of my previous H budget has quickly been re-targeted to Peter.
Oh wow thank you for letting me know it's yours! It is so stunning I hope you have endless joy from it!

I feel like Hermès has trained me to be very patient and not ask too many questions for fear of disrupting the process—haha.

I’m only sharing this because someone asked about current lead times. I feel very lucky to even be in the position to order this bag.

I placed my order with Peter back in September, and at the time, his assistant mentioned it would take about six months. I’ve been relaxed about the timing, especially after finally getting my first Birkin and Kelly earlier this year—so I wasn’t in a rush.

That said, I have a trip to Italy in September, and I’m hoping to have the bag by then. We’ll be attending F1 and traveling by train, and based on past experience with pickpockets, I’d love to have a more low-key, functional bag that still feels stylish enough for the F1 scene (I don’t care about the cars, but I’ve seen the outfits!).

I follow Peter’s IG and know he’s incredibly hands-on and clearly has a lot going on. From everything I’ve seen here and online, I completely understand delays can happen—just hoping it might still be possible to have the bag in time for the trip.

My last emails were in mid-April and May, asking for ETA and in progress photos because I have read on this forum that other clients received them. I was told to follow his channel, which I already followed. I think I saw one or two photos of my bag, but they were removed and I didn’t think about taking screenshots.

I just sent another follow-up email, mainly to get a clearer sense of where things stand so I can plan accordingly. I’m not trying to rush the process—just want an update at this point.

I have brain fog and I’ve been traveling a lot. I forgot that my bag was posted on IG. It’s the terracotta dream bag with etoupe interior. Peter suggested the whole combo including the yellow stitching. It’s not something I would pick but I placed my trust in him. I can’t wait to get it!

Peter's lead time for bespoke is in the 8-9 month range. I placed an order for my Dawning bag in December 2024. It's scheduled to be ready mid-September 2025.

I placed my order for a small Libby bag at the end of March / beginning of April 2025. The time frame for delivery is being pushed back. Originally, it was 8 to 12 weeks. I had hoped to get it this past week. Now I think it will be closer to some time in July. I've been emailing Peter and his production manager. Both have been responsive. The frustrating thing is I can't seem to get through the fire wall. When I try to sign it, it won't let me.

I know both bags will be beautiful.

I wanted to share my newest bag — a 25cm Dream from Peter Nitz in Terracotta Geneva calf, with a lead gray chèvre interior and contrast saddle stitching in yellow. I also ordered both the canvas and leather straps for versatility.

I’m really happy with how this turned out — the craftsmanship is beautiful, and the color combination feels both classic and a bit unexpected. Looking forward to seeing how it fits into my rotation.

Would love to hear from others who have a Dream or other PN bags — how have yours worn over time?

Thanks for letting me share!

Gorgeous bag! Congrats!

I love my Dream and it's aged beautifully. (Although since it's nubuck I don't bring it out quite as much as if it were regular leather and it doesn't get used in summer.) My PJ is also really aging gracefully and has developed a healthy patina.
