I think Peter was away for the Saut Hermès. So if he is also the one answering the customer service messages, it might have piled up while he was gone.

I would give Peter the benefit of the doubt. This is a completely new business line / model. There’s bound to be kinks.
Yep you were both correct, didn't realize Peter would be replying directly himself. I figured he would have had a customer service team handling inquiries.

He responded and added some more photos if anyone is wondering. Here's what he said-

The libby is made from the full thickness calf specially tanned so that the back side is suede finished to be used as the interior. Please see attached pics.

Its an open tote, no feet, and there are no interior pockets we have a zipper pouch in two sizes meant to go with the the bag that we will launch soon.

The bag in the photo you attached is the Medium size.

The RTW Line is a very bold, risky idea, but I'm kinda glad he ventured into this territory. If built carefully, this brand is gonna be Hermès 2.0 by 2050-60. It has immense potential. If I were the Arnault's, I'd already be on the phone.
And if they can maintain their integrity by being this transparent along the way, then it is a win. Since Hermès is everything but honest or transparent.

This new Libby is a truly beautiful bag, practically a Picotin Pro Max, but half the price. The only thing I like more about the latter is finish of the suede inside, kinda feels more natural, it has industrial vibes on the Libby.

The fact that he honours the actual craftspeople on the label is just pure class. I applaud that, and I hope it helps to fight the snobbish cliché that luxury watch=Swiss, bag=French, car=German. He easily could have just used Made in Transylvania, that would have been also true, and would have sounded way more familiar, romantic, acceptable for global audiences, but I'm glad he did stick with Romania.

I decided to order the small Libby in the tan Arosa calf. I recently consigned my 32 cm gold Kelly, so this bag will replace it. I like that it’s under the radar and easy access. I also think the bag is a great value. I’ll review the bag once I receive it.

I also got the stitching samples for my Dawning bag.

Congrats on your decision! This is such a beautiful and special bag from Peter Nitz!

I would ever prefer it to my Hermes bags (Bolide and Kelly!).

Was browsing Peter's instagram and saw the dream bag in metallic green exterior with metallic blue interior. No idea whose bag it is, but that is a stunning combination!
Hi! That one is mine! It’s truly my absolute favorite bag- I have yet to find an outfit that it can’t match. And Peter is such a wonderful person to work with- it’s amazing to watch his creative genius come to life. I’ve visited the atelier a couple of times and he is truly just a sweetheart of a human being. Most of my previous H budget has quickly been re-targeted to Peter.
