My Speedy 40 from early 2017, five years old and looking fabulous. Please excuse the dog fluff on my duvet cover! My fur baby has just had a bath and is shedding terribly! :whut:

I've been thinking more lately about doing a Neverfull GM in Mon Mono/My Heritage. Mostly I am content with my LV collection and I don't plan on buying many new pieces from them (always open to vintage!) but this is something I have been thinking about on and off for a few years. I would probably only use it as a travel bag and so I don't know that I really need it since I have the Speedy 40. I'm thinking grey with a dark blue for the colours, and grey lining. I just love the original style print on the interior that now only comes with a personalised order. I'm also trying to justify the inflated price versus what I paid in 2017 because I had also considered a Mon Monogram mini pochette a few years ago but never pulled the trigger -- the NF GM would of course come with a pochette, also personalised. Decisions!

Absolutely love this combo. Ivory and what please?

Would anyone be able to tell me whether I can order a personalised item at a store outside my home country? I'm Australian, but will be in Paris in a couple of weeks - can I order the bag in Paris and have it shipped to me all the way in Australia?

Woah! I was just on the website and the heritage mini pochette is now $925! It was $725 when I bought it three weeks ago. Glad I ordered when I did.
I just placed my order and gagged at the price. But I did it anyway. I gifted my mom my mono mini PA (paid $310 in 2018) after she gifted me her 2007 MIF NF GM in mint condition. So I kinda rationalized I'm still ahead in the whole of the transaction. Plus I wanted a Mon Mono mini but couldn't rationalize it while I still had the plain mono. This new one will match my Mon Mono Speedy 35 and it's part of my birthday gift.

So yeah, a whole lot of mental gymnastics all leading me to rationalize spending $1001.31 on a mini pochette

When I was in Paris I asked, and shipping would be to USA, they told me no. I would have to pick it up there

I just finally convinced myself to order a My Heritage/Personalized Horizon 50. Moutarde/Vert Anglais.

And now, the impatient waiting begins! Frustratingly, I have 2 work trips that will occur before it arrives, and a 3rd trip for a wedding that *might* be close enough to the 12 week estimate for me to be able to use the bag.

I have 2 My Heritage pieces that I bought in 2015: a GM Neverfull & a Keepall Bandoulière 45. Both are fuchsia/orange. Both are still going strong and in excellent condition. I travel a lot for my job and these are workhorse bags. They've been tossed around in planes, trains, and automobiles. The Neverfull also gets used as a daily work tote quite often. It has some tiny paint chips but is in much better shape than I have any right to expect.

I do not expect the Horizon to hold up quite as well as either of these, as a cabin trolley bag takes a bit more abuse in the overhead bin, but I'm okay with some scratches & scars. I've always loved the look of well-used vintage LV trunks and suitcases & I like to think of scratches, dings, etc as souvenirs of a well traveled life. I'm fortunate in that most of my plane travel is 1st Class or Business (due to status upgrades, frequent flyer points) so the likelihood of having to gate-check is extremely low. I also almost never have to fly a regional jet, and when I do, I use my trusty battered Rimowa instead.

I had a hard time deciding between the 50 and 55 for the Horizon. I'd love to have the extra space but I'm worried the 55 is more likely to be gate checked by eagle-eyed airline staff as its dimensions do slightly exceed the carry-on size for some airlines.

The only problem is... I know at some point over the coming months I'll talk myself into ordering a new Neverfull & Keepall to match the new color scheme!

I am curious - how much was the personalized Keepall Bandoulière 45 back in 2015?
