Permanente Hair Straightening

I had mine done in Hong Kong for the equivalent about $80, which included a haircut (it's cheaper in Asia because the technology has been around forever there). My process was similar to what you girls have experienced, took a total of about 4 hours. Couldn't wash my hair for a couple of days. The process itself was a hassel because of this but the results were great!

I've been straightening my hair for...almost four years exactly, now. I still remember walking into school the day after I got it done for the first time..

My curly hair was ridiculously frizzy and I would end up spending over an hour in the bathroom just to I could put it in a ponytail! But I'm always wondering whether my natural hair is still that kinky...I know hair goes through cycles, and I wouldn't mind seeing curls again--so long as they were tame.

My guy charges $300--but he's been cutting my hair since I was a baby...seen me through the good times and the bad.
