Had an appointment that took me to a part of town I've not been to. Found myself in front of a Henry Jacques boutique! :faint:

I'd never heard of them prior to playing on the perfume threads here, and I actually knew nothing when I walked in, other than having the brand recognition. Let me tell you, this is the best boutique experience I've ever had. They were the most polite staff I have ever dealt with, though I immediately told them I know nothing and am just browsing while I wait for an appointment.

I mentioned my allergies and they very carefully chose samples that would not be problematic. Everything I smelt was heavenly. This is different to any other perfume I've had the pleasure of sniffing. They're smooth. They smell like beautiful, fragrant, classy money people.
I wish I could say which ones I tested but I have no idea. They just brought a few over that they recommended. It was a truly wonderful experience.

The prices were the highest I've seen yet and that was quite a shock for me, but I can totally get behind it (easy to say since I cannot afford it lol). A wonderful bottle or two when you have the means would be all you need, really (in my fantasy life). No other brand would be of interest.
Can you tell I was impressed?

Thanks to those of you who have posted about it. I would have likely walked past it had I not recognized the name from here. :flowers:
I am a bigger fan of Henry Jacques than I was initially prepared for. Their fragrances are extremely
sophisticated & just smell divine if you are able to find one of your choice. I would rather have one
standout scent that more or less will become my signature.
I'm glad that you had a special experience.

I'm not much of a signature scent person. HOWEVER, I could probably justify it if that fragrance were a Henry Jacques. Their fragrances are just THAT good.

Also, even as expensive as the Henry Jacques are, having one Henry Jacques as a signature scent would probably be more cost effective than building and rotating through the ridiculous library that I have now.

Considering popping into Parfums de Marly to purchase Oriana! Every time I’ve tried it on, I’m obsessed with the scent after a couple of minutes (I like the citrusy opening less). Does anyone know whether they also offers the two complimentary samples in-store, or would it be best for me to order online?

Anyone try any of Victoria Beckhams 3 new scents? Her samples are $30 USD for 3 (three) 2ml sample sizes. You get a $30 voucher towards a full size but I am not sure if I'll like one enough to pay $200.

Finally got to try Victoria Beckhams new scents. She has very deep tales for her complex scents. This is part of the description for Suite 302 I actually could smell the wine, leather goods and cosmetics . I thought this group might appreciate this scent.
