You can use whatever box you want. Paying for shipping to the next person on the list is the only cost! So far I've confirmed I am NOT a fan of Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors fragrances. Can't stand Versace yellow diamonds. Mugler Angel is a nope. A bunch are men's fragrances, and not bothering with them. I really like Al Ibdaa Gold by Ard Al Zaafaran. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I might like Nikki Minaj Pink Friday perfume. Giving my nose a rest/reset and will try more tomorrow.
Your Parfums de Rosine samples arrived quickly. Did you order them from overseas? Pretty packaging!
For the ones that love testing perfumes, do you use test strips? They never worked much for me in stores, but I'll not be able to test so many fragrances on my skin. It's a very slow process and leads to too many complaints from DH. I can't blame him though. So, I decided to first eliminate the ones that I'm not too impressed by using those strips. Opinions?

@Chanbal, I rarely use test strips if I am testing samples at home, which is usually the case. It is a slow process testing samples (which is why I have so many still waiting to be tested). When I want to test something (like today), I spray something on soon after I wake up. I work out late in the morning and spray a different perfume after I have showered post workout. I think it's fine to use paper strips if you think it will help you narrow down your list of samples.

I'll let you know if the strips work for me. I ordered some and they should arrive soon. I always get confused by smelling several strips at the store, and the SAs asking about which perfume I want to get this time. So I have some purchase regrets. There is nothing like testing fragrances at home.

For the ones interested, I found the test strips helpful to eliminate a few perfumes. I test about 5 fragrances each time, and the ones that pass the strip test go to phase 2 for skin testing.

For example:
Top set- Rose Nue and the woody florals (Ballerina #3 & 4) passed to phase 2.
Bottom set- Pas Ce Soir, Latin Lover, Cuir, and Rose & Cuir passed to phase 2.

It's still a slow process, but it spares me from having to tolerate a perfume that I particularly don't like for a few hours. It's also fun.

Paper strips or toilet tissue works great. I almost always test before I go to bed. If I can’t tolerate it before I settle in… it gets washed off and placed in the NO pile. If I was a poo head and blind bought a bottle… I try to sell it quickly.

I like rose fragrances and have most of them on my collection.

gorgeous

I have tested Montobaco Verano-- and she appeals to me very much, have bought a 10 ml decant of Tsarina and want to explore Rose Gold  and la route de solei collection

You need to try Exalte by Funmi Monet. I tested it and ordered it immediately. I posted a couple of reviews on it… I am certain it’s one of the best Turkish Rose, Fluffy fragrances I own…. And I have a lot of them.

Raw Gold, I was very sceptical listening "the perfume guy' on YT. But he was 200% right. I am very impressed, it is difficult to describe the scent, but she is special. My first impression was as you sip some strong tasteless beverage. Some time later a beast turns into a beauty.
How are you enjoying L'Heure Bleue? I read its description elsewhere and it sounds like a very interesting fragrance, I'm very curious about it. Did you get a vintage bottle? Do you know how it compares with the EDT version? The EDP version is sold out at Gerlain.

I bought it yesterday, it is sealed, but I tested in the boutique, it is divine. It is a this year version, but I tested it. It is stronger, more powerful than EdP, brighter and its longevity is better.
I understand L'Heure Bleue was originally released in 1912, it sounds like a true classic. Enjoy it!
