Peeling Monogram Artsy

They will not let me order online and that is not in stock in store. Also asked for Alma in DE, and Graceful and both are not in stock. I dont think the Artsy is bad I just would prefer the original handle. I will definitely just live with it.
I know that's a hard decision. At least if they have something you like in store you can swap it out. Good luck!!!!
My sister gave me her LV purse. Not sure what style it is. The coating is peeling where the leather zipper tab has rubbed against the top of the purse. It has happened on both sides of the purse. Best I can tell from the code inside the pocket, it was made in September 2016 in the U.S. Has anyone else had this problem? I am not sure its worth reaching out to the store where she purchased it.

That looks like something was spilled or constantly came in contact with/rubbed against it... are you sure it’s from the leather tab itself? For some people that corner would sit right under an armpit especially if they wear totes angled (like I do). Does your sister happen to use deodorant sprays???
you might want to take the bag in with your sister (if she is the original owner) and see what can be done if anything. Worst that can happen is they say there’s nothing they can do.
Thanks for taking a look. I really do think its the leather zipper pull that rubbed on both sides of the purse. Just the way it falls to either side right where the coating is worn away. LV seems very vague on their warranty. Just seems like when you spend a lot of money on something, it should be made well.
There is no formal warranty policy. That is why. Everything is a case by case basis.
I have the Artsy monogram bag and have noticed the peeling monogram, also. It is on both ends of the bag. I bought it pre-loved but I have the original receipt showing where it was initially purchased in 2018. I have had it for almost 18 months. Should I return to the location where it was purchased to see if they will do anything about it or should I begin the process online first? The store is located 2 hours from me. As you can see from the pics, this bag is still in great condition - except for the peeling on both ends! 
I had the same thing. LV took it back and gave me a credit. Although i loved the bag, it was indeed quite heavy and uncomfortable on the shoulders.
Hi. When you return a damaged LV bag would they normally ask for a receipt? What if it was bought in a different country? Currently in Melbourne. Same as yours, mine has a tiny bubble in the canvas. Thanks!
