These are my recent pearls from Future Fashionista. One is a 37" strand of peacock baroque Tahitians with diamond clasp designed by Japster, and the other is a strand of 12.5-17.4mm teal blue Tahitians with diamond clasp and diamond rondels, handmade by Japster.

I am so sorry that my horrible photog skills don't do better justice to her outstanding work.

GGA now has one of the most gorgeous strands I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And when we met up in Chicago to have a playdate, She has a great eye for pattern so I asked her put it in the best layout for me to string later. She sat there with diamond roundels and pearls putting it all into her precise formation. Here are some pics I took of her strand with earrings I was working on. That mirror luster on that is so fantastic that I probably should've put clothes on when I took the pic.

I'm going to post pics a little later of a side-by-side comparison of AA+ fw and gem grade (6-7mm and 7-8mm; 16" - 18"). I think it might be helpful.

Unfortunately I don't have any picture but I just have to say that I have received the most beautiful 9 mm pearl studs from Japster. She is a true gem to work with and these earrings are the nicest earrings I have!

Wow, so many nice pearls on this thread. So I was thinking of getting a Chanel costume set, but now I think maybe a real pearl set with a Chanel brooch on it might look so much nicer. Does anyone clip brooches on their pearls?

I do, but carefully, and not on Tahitian or South Sea pearls. I will on freshwater pearls, though. For me, it's a fun way to change up my simple strands.

And thank you all. Japster really outdid herself with my necklace, but honestly, the craftsmanship of every single thing I've ever bought from her is every bit as fine quality as those blue Tahitians.
