One bag for $2000. Bags in the $500 simply don't interest me. Don't get me wrong, I have inexpensive bags from Zara and H&M that I love, but if I'm going to spend over a few hundred, I want it to be something I REALLY love.

Wow, this IS hard. I usually get a lot of bags in the $300-$500 range and then wonder why I don't have more "premier" bags.........

I do have a Jimmy Choo that cost...well, a helluva lot. And a McQueen padlock tote that I adore....and ok, a Dior Panarea tote that I'm obsessed with. I wouldn't part with those ever, ever, ever!

I'm not really answering the question, am I? Right now I'm trying to calm down and appreciate what I have.

Great topic! I'm definitely hovering between the two. I spent close to $2K on my latest obsession, the Fendi 3Jours petite this Fall. I was ready to succumb to another nearly $2K love (YSL Cabas ChYc) when I had a similar epiphany. I could get a few bags from under the radar labels and be just as happy. I took the plunge and bought a few pieces from Sophie Holme, a label that has grown on me recently. I'll probably join the MG bandwagon before it busts too. You can really have both with a little patience...sales are always around the corner. I'll never pay full price for a bag again.

Although there are bags in the $2K marks that I would admire, I never allow myself to spend that much on one purse. If something happens to it, I know my heart wouldn't be able to take it; in fact, I haven't spend over $1K, and don't think I will for a long time.

It depends what I like at the moment. My price range is anywhere from $30 to $3000. I don't buy bag for sake of buying a bag, even cheap ones. I strictly purchase on emotional attachment. It's just gotta be a bag that I love.
