that sounds so scary, am so glad to hear you're both ok. really makes you stop and appreciate life when you hear horror stories like this 
I am so glad you are ok. I was robbed at gunpoint in my antique store. It is such a violation. There are residual mental effects from this, and you should get some basic counseling. I did not at first and became afraid of everything and everyone. It was a form of shock.
On the plus side I was more aware of suspicious behavior the next time a criminal came into my store. I ran out. Found out later he robbed someone else down the street.
I decided to close my store a few months after - I could just never be comfortable.
