BTW, I ran into a woman today with a Boulogne handbag, and it had a rich honey colored patina all over. I was more interested in how much she liked the bag because that style will most likely be my next purchase, and I was thinking I'd hear a ton of praise since it looked like she'd carried it for awhile. Nope, it was all of three months old, and it had been a gift. She initially had trouble getting used to it because she normally liked longer straps, but now she adored it.
