Thank you so much for your confirmation. Do you know how early do you have to line up in order to get in? does it make any difference if you go in first in the morning? or they will keep putting new things out so it doesn't really matter the time you go? TIA.
peggyo, the stock is renewed everyday. Which means that the earliest, the best, speaking about stock. That said, the first day's queue is totally crazy, some people arrive at 5 am, even before the Palais des Congrès opening hour. And you may then have something like 2 or 3 hours queuing up... As for me, I don't even think to do such thing, so I usually go later, and I always could find something to buy. HTH

How much later is a good time to go? There should be still goodies available on the last day right? TIA

I agree, there's no point in lining up. The annoying thing about the sale is that you need to shop quickly because you only get a certain amount of time in each section (10 min? 15 min? something like that). And they certainly do enforce it.

You're right on this, stephc. You're allowed to stay no more than 10mn in scarves and shawls sections

DH and I are going to Paris in 2 weeks and the sale isn't worth us switching our trip to a later date. If it were overlapping or just a couple days difference, then I would change our plans so we could go to the sale. And, if we lived in Europe, I'd definitely go to every sale lol. I wasn't impressed enough by the summer sale to fly across the Atlantic just for the sale.

Thank you for this information! I will go to these sales for the first time in my life, and wanted to know whether they will also have any silver jewels there?
Thanks

What type of bags do they generally have? And also small leather items? I live in London so was going to hop on the Eurostar, but generally I'm only interested in the leather items as I very rarely wear scarves.

I've been told that the discount is often 40%-50% French retail. There are often silk scarves/ties, ready to wear, shoes, chinaware, sometimes enamels. No leather goods (bags, wallets, clutches, charms, bracelets, etc.). These are what is often on sale as observed in the previous sales, however no one is 100% sure what will go on sale until they reach the venue.
