Powder Puff, VigeeLeBrun, Maedi, Lanit, chkpfbeliever, amber_j - Glad to have been there done that! Honestly, having been to the sale, I totally think the markup some sellers put on their sale items is worth it. Being in the line for that long for only one or two items on the wishlist is certainly not worth the time, imo.
Yes, you made the right decision, lovely64. The crowd was worst on the first day and not everything there was necessarily TDF, as there's no SLGs, bracelets, or china.
I think the selection was great in carres and GMs, depending on the day you go, they're just in wrong colorways. But it's great for my wallet that way as I don't have to hesitate much.
I got some a CS GM on my wishlist and a 2010 mousseline stole that I never thought would be there, so I'm content. I hope to be able to take photos when I'm back home, as the lighting here is not bright enough.
Part of the reasons I went on three days is because we never knew what would be offered each day, and the people watching is one of the best thing to do in Paris, ya know. Entertaining!
I saw some on both ebay.com and ebay.fr already.
CS GM was 498 Euros, Silk GM (Kachinas in white, coral, and another with yellow border; Coaching in several cws) was around 400 euros.
Thanks chestnutty. I guess it is an experience that all Orange addicts should try out once in their lifetime. 498 Euros really is a steal. I hope you score something nice for yourself.
