You can also order it online and return to any Cartier store for full refund within 14 days, if that makes it easier. Which configuration are you thinking of getting? Congrats on the LB!!! I am just getting used to mine, had it for less than a month. I never thought I would be able to wear it without taking it off but I can and loving it :)

Cartier Panthere was actually first released in 1983, then discontinued in early 2000s, then made a comeback in 2017. It's such a classic item!!!

Thanks for all the info on the Panthere. I am still thinking about it, I was originally debating between ss with diamonds and two tone. Then I also liked the Alhambra/flower shaped VCA watch. But on the other hand, I am now thinking that maybe it makes sense to get Panthere in YG and not get VCA (I love the design but there are some cons such as there are no numbers). So still thinking. I suppose I could get Panthere two tone or ss + VCA or just get Panthere in gold. Which one would you go for? Assuming I alrady have two ss watches. Hard choice :smile:

As far as the size for Panthere, it will definitely be small. I actually had it many many years ago in ss (at that time it was ss, and if you wanted to get it with diamonds it had to be either YG or WG). Then down the road I sold it (the only thing I sold; I keep everything else like forever), and then had a big regret when they re-released it. So I bought the small model in ss with diamonds two years ago and had issues with the links (removing 3 was too tight, 2 was way too lose) so I exchanged it for earrings. But every time I see this watch I miss it and I keep coming back to it. I feel like it was meant for me to have it. If I go for ss/diamonds or two tone, I will get it this holiday season but if I go for YG, it will be sometime next year. I am going to be at the mall this weekend and will try on the gold one :))

Yes, my lovely SA removed the Links. The original band was definitely too loose. We played around a little bit. We wanted to get the “bracelet look” and removed two links and three links. We gave it a little time, but then we decided to go with the looser fit, so he put in one more link.

For the summer time I really liked the loose fit. But now it gets a lot colder and I am thinking about getting one more link removed, because of all the coats and gloves... but I am not sure.

I'm also interested in more pictures, maybe the back of the watch if you can to see how it fits. Curious to see how removing 2 links looks like. Any photos of it would be very helpful! :)

I love my watch. Every time I see it, my heart jumps a bit. It was the right desicion to go with gold. I still like the look of the steal with the diamonds, but for me gold is perfect. I am also very, very happy that I went for the small modell. The look is timeless and goes with everything. Even casual outfits.
And yes, I still like the diamonds. They are not necessary, it is a beautiful watch with or without it, but they add a little “color”.
So.. as you can tell, I am still in love :biggrin:. And I am very happy that I went for the Panthere. In my family or my circle of friends, nobody wears this kind of “jewellery watch”. If they care about watches, they go for Omega, Rolex etc. But these kind of round, big watches are just not pleasing to me at the moment and I am more than happy that I went for my Panthere instead.

I just checked it, I removed two links. The watch is still loose, but I like it this way.

Hey Le Lion! So I did get a chance to try on Panthere watches again. Unfortunately they didn't have the two tone in small size (I got to try it in Medium size), but I got to try it on in stainless steel with diamonds and YG with diamonds. I must say the YG with diamonds looks amazing. So the choice for me would be between these 3. I haven't decided yet since I am planning if for next year or after and I would still like to try on the two tone in small. If you have any other pictures of YG Panthere, would love to see them!!

I know it's been a while, just wondering how you like your Medium size Panthere since you got it. I ended up getting love bracelet so I plan on getting Panthere next year (small size).

Are you referring to YG or WG? I agree that the new Panthere is very beautiful in YG. I haven't seen it in WG. I tried ss with diamonds, two tone, YG plan and with diamonds. Will make a decision next year :)

BTW the small size is very small. The medium one is not as big as it meant to be in general. It’s better to try on and see how the watch looks on you.

It's been a while, I ended up getting LB this year so the Panthere is for next year. Did you end up getting Panthere? Curious which configuration you chose. Any photos will be very helpful.

Hi I ended up with a small Tank Americaine because I wanted something low key for everyday wear. I‘m working in Paris for a period of time and take regularly the public transport. So I’m kind of afraid of wearing a watch with diamonds everydaY. I plan to have Panthere later when it’s time to leave Paris, not sure yet between the SS and SS w/ YG. I change my mind everyday lol.

Congrats on Tank Americaine! If you have any photos, would love to see it! Are you thinking of SS with diamonds or plain SS? I tried all of them: SS plan, SS/dam, Two Tone, YG plain, YG/diam. I’m thinking of SS with diamonds and still having second thought for two tone with diamonds lol. So undecided yet. I have more feeling for ss that I find it a bit more feminine. I will try them on again and see at that moment which one I prefer.

The watch looks great! I must say Cartier watches are the best!!!!! So many styles and so beautiful! Let me know what you think of th two tone. I thought the YG looked a little bright against ss. It's weird that solid YG doesn't look too bright at all. Good luck with decision!
