I just got my new leather bracelet today! I got the single brown leather one and I really like it. It's so different b/c it feels very light. I got the 17.5 cm. size and it looks tiny in the package but I think it will be fine because I'm only planning to put a few beads on it. (Right now it just has one lonely bead!) I like the concept of a bracelet that's only supposed to have a few beads, b/c often there are beads I like but just don't fit with the themes on my full bracelets, so I'm thinking this way I could switch the beads out easily without having to dismantle my full bracelets. I would be interested to hear what other people who have the new leather bracelets think of them.

dalmunchkin, I have the single gray leather bracelet and I love it. I plan on doing the same thing as you. Just a few beads at a time on it. I have the bracelet set up for Fall with the Jack O Lantern bead, orange murano and ghost bead. It looks great. When Fall is over I plan on putting my Christmas/Winter beads on it. Then when I feel like something simple, I will pick a fav bead that's not on a bracelet and highlight that one. I really like the leather bracelets. I may get one in red.

Hi Dalmunchkin and Lipglossqueen,

I'm on the exact same page. I picked up a black leather bracelet for the same reason. I love my full bracelets, but I like the idea of some seasonal ones too. Right now on my black leather bracelet I have some pumpkins and a witch's hat from Biagi. I've already been picking up some adorable Christmas beads next. Chamilia has some new adorable ones. I love their new Kris Kringle. Then after Christmas I'm going to put on my Chinese beads for Chinese New Year.

As I posted a few pages back - not a big fan of the leather, I don't like my bracelets too tight, and even though I have only 3 beads on it, they are always underneath my wrist, so you never see them. One bracelet is fine, but I won't be buying anymore, unless they release a leather that has 'sections'

From outside they look just like regular lock but when opened you'll see a little piece of silicone on both halves of the clips. It creates friction between lock and bracelet, the nice thing is that you can put them where ever you want and as many as you want.

We have some on our site.

But would the silicone damage the color of the leather? Or change when wet, like when you wash your hands?
Not sure what you are thinking of, but silicone is a solid, like rubber, it can't change the color and nothing would happen if it got wet. It would be like putting a rubber/elastic band around some leather - it doesn't change it in any way.

Hi,

I'm using something similair on my leather bracelet. I have some beads that look like spacers, but have silicone rings on the inside and you slide them on the bracelet. I have the double leather bracelet and use them to keep some beads on the first loop of the leather and some beads on the second. I don't fear the silicone damaging anything.

What brand are the gold foil muranos? Lovely bracelet.. :)

Wow! So many pictures to admire. All the bracelets, earrings and necklaces look great! Someone had mentioned earlier about the gold in the murano beads. I have been wanting something that had a more two tone feel to go with my yellow gold wedding set etc. Honestly though, I don't have the budget for two gold beads or even many two tone beads.
So I decided to use some murano beads to bring in some gold and I'm happy with the results. On this bracelet I have one amber trollbead and two beige/blue silver trace trollbeads. Then I have 4 gold foil muranos. It really does blend well with my yellow gold rings.
