Thanks everyone!!!! I thought the clips were used so that the bracelet wouldnt break.....I am happy to hear I dont need them YET!!!! Sometimes when I go to put my bracelet on it wont "bend" properly and I feel like it is going to "kink" ....does anyone else have this problem.....when I straighten it out it does bend properly and I am able to put it on.....that is why I thought I may need clips![/QUOT

One thing to consider is that if you don't use clips in the middle, charms can get stuck on the threaded areas as they move around. Personally I find that annoying so I always use clips. Plus some of the clips are very pretty so it's not like the space is wasted. Definitely a personal decision though.

I did notice the charms moving when I only had 2.....now that I moved them around to the clasp and they "hang down" on my wrist instead of me trying to move them to the top of my wrist (if that makes any sense LOL) I noticed they arent moving around anymore...that is why I was questioning if clips were needed....I thought maybe the bracelet could kink or break without them.....I was looking at the clips online this AM and some of them are really pretty....

I went to have my jewelry cleaned today and I should know myself by now, I can't go in there and NOT come out with something....soooooooo, I picked up the blue cz flowers dangle bead!! I cleared out my second silver bracelet and paired it up with two of my muranos that I thought it looked great with...I'm loving the minimalist look of it next to my full two tone one!! Heres a pic of my new bead on the bracelet....

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!! Gorgeous!!!!

Clips will protect the bracelet from snapping. The SA's at Pandora advise clips on the to middle sections so that you will not break the bracelet. They said they will not replace for that. I tend to be mindful of this and move the charms around often enough so that this won't happen, and I never force the bracelet to bend around my wrist. Sorry, I may have thrown in my 2 cents on this 2 times!! Not trying to be too :chatty: .....

^^ Dal, I feel exactly the same way you do. I even get annoyed when the beads stick on either side of the clasp like I said earlier. It's so personal though. The things that annoy some don't bother others.

Luv, this is greatly appreciated info that I did not know. I'll take your two cents anytime.

This thread has gotten pretty long and it's hard to read the whole thing or remember everything that I have read.:wondering

thank you sooo much for the info!!! I didnt know the bracelet could snap....there are times I go to put it on and it wont bend right and it's "stiff"....but I just place it down flat and then it's OK.....is it b/c I dont have the clips or is this a normal thing with this bracelet? Thanks again!

When I started, I originally got a Biagi bracelet. It works/looks the same, except for the logo of course and it doesn't have the 2 middle threads. I have since gotten a Pandora bracelet, but honestly I prefer the Biagi, because I don't have to deal with the extra threads! I'm constantly changing stuff around, so it takes more time to put them on and off of the Pandora. It's full, so I don't have to worry about the clips, or keeping them divided, and I've never had a problem with it being stiff or kinking. I also don't have to worry about invalidating my warranty because I've threaded on an off brand charm!

My husband saw this post and I wanted to say THANK YOU!!! He literally ran out of the house and came back with two clips (the sunburst and the ribbed clips) He said he didnt want the bracelet to snap and me to lose all my charms b/c now they have ALOT of sentimental value to me and I am a very sentimental person. My question is I have 6 charms....I tried to clip the clips with all 6 charms in between them, but it was a tight fit and the bracelet became very "stiff" so I quickly removed the clips and took one charm and put it in one section, 4 charms in the middle section, and 1 charm in the last section w/ the clips on those middle parts....should I have been able to fit all 6 charms in b/w the clips? My bracelet is a size 7.1 was wondering if that's why....thanks so much!

No, you should not have the center section tight when using clips. That will cause the bracelet to not bend properly and cause it to snap. Pandora is really cracking down on their repair policy because so many send things back for every reason under the sun. The clips in the center are important because if the beads get caught on the center threads it could also snap. When using the clips, there should be a little space in the sections so the bracelet can bend the way its meant to. When you first get your bracelet, it can be very stiff. That's because its new. Once you wear for awhile, it will become more pliable. Hope this helps. I work for a Pandora retailer so this is some of the tips that Pandora gives to us.

Thank you!!!! I thought I was going to break it and I got VERY nervous when it was so stiff b/c of the charms being too tight with the clips. Glad I took the clips off quickly! Right now I have one charm in one section, 4 in the middle section, and one in the last section w/ the 2 clips in the middle sections....is this OK?

Does anyone know when Pandora introduced the Murano beads? I saw any ebay seller selling a bunch, designs I didn't recognize, claiming they were from 2007. Very suspicious! I can't find anything online. Oh, and I was ready to bid on a 14k charm, a great deal for a used gold charm, and the seller pulled the auction in the last few min! I'm so disappointed! There were a bunch of other gold ones on there last night, used, and the seller pulled those as well.

Can you post a link to the bead in question? Pandora has been making murano for years back to at least 2001, maybe from the very beginning.
