thanks for the info. A trip to NYC is in order. I have gotten friendly with the owner of the Pandora shop where I do the most damage. it's an actual pandora shop. He knows what a junkie I am with all things Pandora. One day we were talking and he told me that Pandora is thinking of doing a Philadelphia specific bead and asked my opinion about what would be a good symbol. Of course, the Liberty Bell sprang to mind or maybe a soft pretzel??? So the owners/managers of the stores have some input. I would love a "hometown" bead. I have the Maple Leaf from the Canadian olympics and my hubby bought me the silver dice when he visited Las Vegas. At the time it was exclusive in the US to that location.

There is an Eiffel Tower from France (in gold) and NY had silver and two-tone beads (3 in total). They were an apple (not the one with the worm), some special flower which I guess must be the native one but I am not certain and I can not recall the third.... I passed the NYC ones up when I was there as there was nothing special in gold unfortunately.....

I will ask the guys who went with me if they can remember the third bead and let you know.

One thing about my dice is no-one here in western australia believes he is real Pandora as location specific beads are not all that well known. He was from a Pandora flagship store and is fully stamped and genuine but it takes some explaining when sales assistants spot him on my bracelet.....

ITA Cyndi PA needs the Liberty Bell!!! But a pretzel would be yummy too....

For mothers day, my hubby (and kids of course!) got me the two tone enamel double hearts dangle! I took all my muranos off my bracelets and made one all silver/two tone bracelet....

I put the new bead--which to me now represents my two kids, my little prince and princess--next to the queen bee!! LOL Looooove it!

Happy Mother's Day to you ladies! My ds got me a tulip dangle (my favorite flower) and my dh bought me the ying yang bead. After a picnic he surprised me with a trip to Jared where I got a new silver/gold cap bracelet and the clear zirconia gold and silver circle bead. Hope everyone had a blessed day!

Thanks for the good wishes. I got the retired mushroom for 25 lb and thought the t-shirt good for 30 lb as I need to step up the exercise efforts.

Way to go on the weight loss! That is fantastic. I am halfway there with my goal and will celebrate with a new bead as well. BTW I "borrowed" the idea from you about using Pandora as motivation. :graucho:
