I have some bad news. The charm that I bought for my mom (see my earlier post) was already bought for her by my sister. I guess when my sister bought my mom the bracelet, she also got her a charm and it is the same one that I just picked out. I just realized this today. So should I take the charm back and exchange it? Or is it ok if she has 2 of the same charm? She only has the one charm right now so I don't know what to do. My second favourite charm is the dangling horseshoe (again, see my earlier post)

How about getting her the girl between you and your sister so she can place it between both of the hearts beads? This way she will have a bit fuller bracelet?

I got my new digital camera going and can finally post pics of the "rainbow" Pandora bracelet the kids have been making me.

My Pandora experience began with a ring in the clearance section of the store. I liked the look, asked, and was shown the beads with it. I selected the bead you see in the first pics to go with jeans and anything else. Then as spring began, I added the green/aqua bead as a fun spring accent.

Then I took the kids to the store for my birthday, to let them each pick a bead for my ring. Ds1 made an executive decision and got a bracelet, then he picked the sterling heart and little ds picked the blue Murano.

Then litte ds got disgusted that I didn't have the beads I picked on the bracelet. I really thought I wanted to keep their "design" pure, but he insisted that all bead go on and the rainbow be worked.

Then Little Mister eye-spied the Pandora store at the mall and convinced big ds, who has since lost interest, that I needed a purple Murano for Mother's Day.

Then silly me. Parked near the store downtown, and landed the amber and a clip. :p

The full rainbow effect thus far.....

Personally I would not change it. I think it it special that you both picked out the same charm. That bead is a great one and having it in double could be really nice down the line. I like the idea of splitting another bead or maybe even a colored murano to go between them. Part of pandora is telling a story or a memory and you both picking the same bead is a good start.

I think it is so sweet letting your loves pick them out. Those muranos are so pretty and if you ever decide to do another bracelet you have a great base to pull from.

^^^^^NoCute!!!!
Your boys are doing a great design job!!!!!
Starting out my son who is 9 went for animals and then little graduated to his birthstone golden citrine (Nov) and then announced gold was the way to go from now on hee hee. Hopefully an indicator for his financial success in the future LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hubby hates taking him shopping cause he selects pricey stuff and hubby is spineless when it comes to us.:D

I like how you made cord into a bracelet. I saw you have it connected with a large o ring. Where did you get the o ring from? Do you just slide bracelet on and off? Are you just going to keep one charm on it? I also wish they made lariat in brown. Would make my decision a whole lot easier:D

I had the silver ring as part of a stack set from TJ Maxx. I got the idea from the jeweler near my work but they used a Pandora stackable ring.
I only wear one dangle on leather Pandora bracelets and I will probadly stick to that with the cord or just give up and give the cord to my mom. She loves the purple cord I got her for her birthday in Feb.

I am still undecided about the cords.

There is an Eiffel Tower from France (in gold) and NY had silver and two-tone beads (3 in total). They were an apple (not the one with the worm), some special flower which I guess must be the native one but I am not certain and I can not recall the third.... I passed the NYC ones up when I was there as there was nothing special in gold unfortunately.....

I will ask the guys who went with me if they can remember the third bead and let you know.

One thing about my dice is no-one here in western australia believes he is real Pandora as location specific beads are not all that well known. He was from a Pandora flagship store and is fully stamped and genuine but it takes some explaining when sales assistants spot him on my bracelet.....

Oh. I would love to get the specific beads for NY. I live in upstate NY and have for my whole life. Please let me know the other bead. I'm very curious and want to see if I could get my hands on them. Maybe a day trip to NYC is in order.
I noticed the dice bead is now on the official Pandora website so maybe more people will be aware that it exists and that you have a real one. Good for you, you know it authentic. Enjoy the uniqueness of it.

Yes, please let us know where in NYC you saw the NY beads. It would be worth the trip!
