You are probably right, I didn't see any recent feedback either, and I also noticed how Kendalldew's beads didn't sell as fast the last time she posted like they normally do.

I hope I helped put a stop to it! I don't mind if people SOMETIMES sell a few items.. but mamsgrammy was out of control. She was buying 50 beads and reselling them all. I did give kendalldew the link to this thread so she may have read what was going on here

I totally agree with you! I think it is so unfair when us ladies want to buy beads for our bracelets, and someone comes in, swoops them all up, and then resells them at a higher price. If you look at her feedback as a buyer, It's 98% Kendalldew. Sorry for my ranting, but that really ticks me off

Ugh. So I just got an email from the Pandora shop that I use when I buy in person saying that they will no longer be selling Pandora because they are now selling Camilla. It then lists all these reasons as to why they feel Camilla is better than Pandora. I'm so sad over this. Now I have to find a new shop. This one was right on the water so it was awesome. Sadly. they just lost my business and I'm sure the business of many, as the only thing I ever saw people in there buying was Pandora.

A good example of why sniping is unfair... I am trying to bid on an auction for a pair of shoes. I asked a question about the shoes in another thread on here and another member replied that she is already sniping them. That pretty much means unless I snipe faster than she does, I won't win.. no matter how quick I am.

See, without sniping, even if she went to outbid me / increase her max bid at the last second.. likely she wouldn't win because it's near impossible to place a new bid manually within 5 seconds of the auction end. Now it becomes a battle of sniping programs.. which I feel is completely unfair.

Miss Kris I am wondering what the reasons are that the shop listed as to chamilia being better than pandora.

I bought the pink opal one today and the flower with the stone in it. They new beads are really pretty, the pink in the pink opal is deeper in person than what it appears in the pictures, there is some variability in those beads as with the muranos.

OMG so unfair and mean! :pout:

I'm always afraid to post links of things I'm bidding on for that reason.

"Why The Switch to Chamilla?"

1) Chamilla is the only American based bead line. The beads are designed by an American woman for an American woman.

2) The glass is hand-blown in Atlanta - it's the only part of any major bead line sold in America.

3) Chamilla is the only line that has a give-back program where a portion of 7 beads are given back to charity.

4) Chamilla has over 200 more beads in the line than Pandora, and many are more along the lines of a "traditional" charm theme

5) Chamilla has the exclusive license for the Disney and Hershey bead collections

6) Chamilla has the largest selection of different types of bracelet and necklace options to appeal to all styles and price points

7) Chamilla keeps many more beads in stock than Pandora, therefore not disappointing customers

8) In many cases their prices are the same if not less expensive than Pandora

9) Same quality that we have all grown to love - SS and 14K

Is Chamilla cheaper to stock than Pandora? I am windering if they are having money troubles and therefore switched over from Pandora to Chamilla. Are stores allowed to sell both? If so, I definitely think it's more of a money issue and they are trying to save funds

^^^^ I had a full Chamillia bracelet and after 7 months the Swavorski crystals fell out of the beads and the leather bracelet really wore badly.....not a fan.
I like Pandora and Trollbeads. Pandora beads, bracelets, mix and match and match jewelry offer so much variety. Trollbeads muranos are like wearing candy on your arm.
I had a Trollbead bracelet. I loved making but it was too abstract so I did not wear it enough to justify the cost. I sold it piece by piece on eBay and made all my $$ back.

the hubby and I had to drop off my mother-in-law at the airport today and he suprised me with a little pandora shopping! We went to Jared's and they had a HUGE selection of pandora!! The sale team was absolutely wonderful there. The cleaned my rings for me, and even let me exchange my bracelet for a larger one. The associate informed me that I would never be able to fit mine on my wrist after it was full. I purchased mine off their website, so they called customer service and looked everything up. I must say they went above and beyond helping me. If anyone's in the pittsburgh area, go to Jared's at Robinson Towship mall. I got two Beveled Clips and they look wonderful on my bracelet!
