any recommendations for a charm for my next trip to spain - cant think of anything that relates to the country, or it could be family related as its a big family holiday?

Hi Everyone,

I visited the Pandora Concept store in Glasgow yesterday and got the Silver Girl charm and a Lobster clasp bracelet, but i think i've made a mistake and im now thinking of exchanging the bracelet for the one with the round clasp, the SA told me she thought the Lobster one was very fiddly but a friend who worked with Pandora told me she saw countless problems with the round clasped one and advised me not to get it but im finding it hard to open and close the lobster clasp, does anyone have one of these? will the stiffness ease off? its a Mothers day gift from my Daughter so i want it to be perfect. I have another 12 days to change it if i want to and im not sure what to do.


I have to say you girls are fabulous enablers, i only saw this thread last week and now i have a list of about 30 beads that i want.

What about the suitcase bead? Its very very cute. There is also the wine glass dangle charm that is coming out for spring. Its silver/14kt so its alittle pricier but very cute.

I work for a Pandora store and most people prefer the barrel clasp over the lobster clasp. Its easier and the barrel clasp is more secure. Once people get used to the barrel, they find it easier to take on and off. Hope this helps.

:tup:honeypye1 ... I have 3 lobster clasp Pandora bracelets and I adore them. Although I will admit they were difficult to do and undo at first, I now find them much easier with a bit of perseverance and practice. I suppose it is personal choice but I think they are better and more secure [cheaper too]. :tup:

My mom had the lobster clasp and we had to replace the bracelet with the barrel. The weight of the filled bracelet caused the lobster to partially open. If that makes sense.

You can purchase (or many places give them away as freebies) a guitar pick to open the barrel. It's a cinch with that.

Eryn... I wear a clip on the very end of my bracelet with the safety chain on the other side so nothing can come off or move on to the very end of the bracelet. Apparently you only measure the length of the very smallest links to get the length, not the whole thing. I asked because I thought I'd been sold a 6cm instead of a 5cm.

Ladies, I tried this tonight and neither of my clips would close on the screw at the end. Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding what you mean. It is driving me nuts that the the chain always wants to screw off.

Thanks for the replys everyone, im still not sure what to do, going to have a think about it today and maybe go back to the store tomorrow, im thinking of getting the barrel clasp bracelet as well as the lobster one as i know once i start i wont be able to stop :D

LLVBeadsalot - Do you find it easy to put your lobster bracelets on and off when they are full?

Hi there

I have both bracelets and find it nearly impossible to open the lobster clasp. I have no trouble with the barrel kind.

Also I have noticed that there is talk about the new release charms, is there anywhere you can view them online, if not would someone mind listing the news ones that they know of, that are being released.
