Thanks for the info nyhockeymom91 and MissyMomToTwo ... I have looked again at the marks but they are quite faded and hard to read. Can definately make out DISNEY and 925, also can now make out a letter C. There is another mark but I just can't work out what it is. There is definately no CHAM which worries me slightly. I got it from a jeweler who says he's liquidating stock as his shop is no longer stocking Chamilia. Here is an auction link...

I'll try to take a close up photo of mine tomorrow when I'm home and post it so you can compare

:cry::cry::cry:
Unfortunately I am just not loving my new Chamilia Mickey Mouse bead!!! I took it into my local jeweler who stocks Chamilia and they verified it is authentic [which is great] but he just doesn't look right on my bracelet x ... I am very fussy about my bracelet and want it to be perfect. x

that's great he's authentic....but not so good he doesn't work for you...

Hi,

I have been reading this post with great interest.

I got into Pandora beads after moving to Germany from U.S. Here Pandora is sold in almost every department and jewelry store, but I had never even heard of it when I lived in the U.S. So imagine my surprise to find out how popular it is, after sending a bracelet and bead to a friend as "quaint little European jewelry", lol. My friend lives in San Fran, and probably has a few Pandora stores around her, lol.

I am curious to see if everyone, if not most, prefers a completely filled bracelet. I've been reading up on how people go about filling their bracelet, and some people mentioned they wouldn't even wear their bracelet until it's full.

Right now I have 5 beads + 2 clip beads on my bracelet, scattered between the 3 sections. I plan to get only 5 more beads, so I can have 3, 3, and 4 beads for the sections + the clips. Then I am done.

After browsing through all the bracelet pictures posted here on tPf, I think I really just like the look of a few beads on the bracelet with a lot of movements. Also, I don't like Murano beads (for myself). I like how they look, but I just prefer beads that have meanings to me.

Am I the only one who will have a partially filled bracelet with no Murano beads? Will I be banished from here forever, lol?
I personally like my bracelets to be all filled. I have a full SS one and a SS one that is less than half full. Sometimes I wear them together and sometimes I just wear my full one with a black leather one. I tend to switch my beads around all of the time to change the look.

Hi Voodoodoll,

I think the joy of charm bracelets, tradition or build-a-bead style, is doing exactly what you want. I have one bracelet full with Muranos. I also have a second bracelet that I like to wear a few silver beads, a few spacers and that's it. I too like the movement and meaning behind the beads. Now, because I have that "collecting" bug, I find myself getting a few themed sets of beads. For example, I have 5 Halloween beads that I wore with spacers in the fall, then I switched them to 3 Christmas ones and now I have 5 Chinese ones for Chinese New Year. As silly as this is going to sound, I felt a teeeny-tiny self conscious that I was wearing my bracelts "incorrectly", but then I said "nah." They bring me joy, I enjoy browsing, collecting and wear them and that's what matters.

Hi, I prefer mine completely filled. However, I think that Pandora bracelets look great both ways, full or or with just a few beads. I have two that are completely filled but most people I know have them only partially filled. As for the Muranos, I love them but I also like the look of just the silver or gold beads. I have one with Muranos and one without. So in my opinion, anything goes as long as YOU like it!

MissyMomToTwo I love your idea of the seasonal themed bracelet! Its genius! I think I may do that myself :) Thanks for the idea!
May I ask which are the 5 halloween beads? the ghost, pumpkin, maybe the cat? Just curious cause I love halloween :death:

hey ladies, thanks so much for your input on my 2nd bracelet...I did end up returning it today :( I'm kinda bummed cuz I really wanted to do the second bracelet but didn't like the way it looked with only a few on it. Plus, for some reason I don't want to separate the beads I have on there already! Its like they all have a "home" next to each particular bead or something...am I crazy!???? I want to collect a few more beads (def decided on doing a beach theme and already have the two muranos picked out plus which beads I'm gonna get) before buying another bracelet. When I returned the bracelet, I picked up two more clips for my current one. It drove me NUTS when the beads would spin so tightly against eachother until I separeated them!!! I mixed it up, took them off, put them on, took them off (i swear, my thumb was cramping up!! LOL) and finally decided on how I want it...now I'm leaving it alone!! I did have to end up taking off my green hearts murano tho :(''''

Hi ladies,

I wanted to show you all my Valentines gift from my sweet hubby.

I hinted off to my eldest child that I would like the pandora lariat necklace, so they went off shopping and got the necklace but hubby thought it was a bit plain so he got the two muranos and ball of hearts charm. I already had the two heart spacers.

I just love it.
