I'm really sorry to hear that and I only wish that the SAs knew better to tell you. Yes they do stretch from the weight of the bead. Also, the bracelets do loosen up, so that adds a little bit of length to when you first try them in store too when they are new and stiff. The SA should've told you that too, I always make sure that tell my customers that when selling the bracelets.
Btw, did you go by the two finger rule when purchasing the bracelets?

Ladies, I need your expert help please? Do any of you have a Chamilia Mickey Mouse silver bead? I bought one from Ebay and have received it this morning but I have some concerns as to whether it is genuine? Those of you who have this bead, could you please tell me what markings it has to the back of Mickey's head? Mine says DISNEY and 925 and something else I can't quite make out??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :confused1:

I have one I purchased at an authorized dealer...
it has the following on the back
Disney R
some sort of symbol..then CHAM 925

who did you buy it from on ebay

Hi Iluvsbeads,

I don't have that specific bead, but I do have many Chamilia ones and a few of those are disney. I have the Nemo and Sebastian beads and they have Disney, 925 and Cham stamped on them. In general, all my Chamilia bead ahve 925...some have Cham and some have C on them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info nyhockeymom91 and MissyMomToTwo ... I have looked again at the marks but they are quite faded and hard to read. Can definately make out DISNEY and 925, also can now make out a letter C. There is another mark but I just can't work out what it is. There is definately no CHAM which worries me slightly. I got it from a jeweler who says he's liquidating stock as his shop is no longer stocking Chamilia. Here is an auction link...

Hi,

I have been reading this post with great interest.

I got into Pandora beads after moving to Germany from U.S. Here Pandora is sold in almost every department and jewelry store, but I had never even heard of it when I lived in the U.S. So imagine my surprise to find out how popular it is, after sending a bracelet and bead to a friend as "quaint little European jewelry", lol. My friend lives in San Fran, and probably has a few Pandora stores around her, lol.

I am curious to see if everyone, if not most, prefers a completely filled bracelet. I've been reading up on how people go about filling their bracelet, and some people mentioned they wouldn't even wear their bracelet until it's full.

Right now I have 5 beads + 2 clip beads on my bracelet, scattered between the 3 sections. I plan to get only 5 more beads, so I can have 3, 3, and 4 beads for the sections + the clips. Then I am done.

After browsing through all the bracelet pictures posted here on tPf, I think I really just like the look of a few beads on the bracelet with a lot of movements. Also, I don't like Murano beads (for myself). I like how they look, but I just prefer beads that have meanings to me.

Am I the only one who will have a partially filled bracelet with no Murano beads? Will I be banished from here forever, lol?

Hi everyone dh and I took a trip to Atlantic city and I got some pandora :D I got the cupcake, 3 spacers a daisy safety chain, a brown leather double bracelet, and a clip. I wanted two clips but they didn't have the other so I just have to pick it up at home. Now how do you keep the safety chain from moving and getting all tangled? At first I had too many on the bracelet so I took one off and rearranged. Now its looser and where the safety bead doesn't sit on the screw, should it be right on there?

:cry::cry::cry:
Unfortunately I am just not loving my new Chamilia Mickey Mouse bead!!! I took it into my local jeweler who stocks Chamilia and they verified it is authentic [which is great] but he just doesn't look right on my braceletx ... I am very fussy about my bracelet and want it to be perfect. x I can buy another bead!!!
