I was on vaction in florida last month and noticed a brand called Silverado Jewelry. They appear to have some very nice beads that are very pretty. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this brand?

Miss Kris, i'm assuming any jeweller can engrave the breast cancer charm. I'll call my Pandora store tomorrow and see what they say.
I think your bracelet will be a beautiful tribute to your mom, whatever you decide to put on it :flowers: Umm, what about the silver heart with pink cz stone? I am obsessed with oval lights, so obviously i'm going to say they would look good..the pink heart muranos? And you should have a strawberry on it, definately!

Hello Copper1977........ I tried searching a few pages back but when I got mine, one of the many expects :queen:on this thread said the bobby pins work like a charm getting the rubber stopper.....hope that helps.

PandoraScott, Bag Me and Maria super pretty bracelets!!! The picture posts make my day!!!!

OMG, YES!!! It was so hard getting it on, but persevere and have patience cause they work fantastically well when they're on. Let me know if you manage it!! :smile1:
I've just ordered another leather bracelet, and i'll be getting another two of the rubber lined stoppers for it, that's how good i think they are!

Have any of you had any problems with Chamilia beads getting stuck on the threads of a Pandora bracelet? If so, what did you do? I'm worried that I've stretched my brand new bracelet and ruined it trying to get the bead off. I couldn't even get it on all the way.

Miss Kris here is a photo of my pink leather bracelet, as you can see I am going with a white theme for this one. Also is a pic of my pink and two-tone that I wear stacked with the leather. :smile1: Hope the pics work (fingers crossed)

HI All:

Went to Morgan Jewelers today and they were putting the price increase stickers on the Pandora. $25.00 bead is now $30.00.

Shelley

Wow, were beads really $25? In the UK the price is £25 (about $35 at the current poor exchange rate)

Are the UK prices also increasing soon? I thought I read that they were a few pages back. Hmm, maybe I need to have a splurge this week, in the interests of saving money you understand.....

Does anyone know why the pandora stuff is much cheaper in the US? Will have to stock up later in the year when i go to the states

Maria - have been trying with the rubber lined beads again, but still struggling - is there any kind of knack that you had to use?

I used a bobby pin. I, like you, struggled for AGGGES. I finally grabbed a bobby pin and pried it open and then slid it over the threaded end of the bracelet. Worked like a charm. Experiment a bit, but I found it helped.

Copper1977, the prices are crazy in the UK compared to the US, it sucks! :pout:
I'd love to know why too...
Yep, our prices are going up 15% on March 1st as well, so our £20 beads will now be £23. Doesn't sound like much, but when you buy a lot, or go for more expensive ones...:cursing:
Surely they must make such a huge profit that they can offset the increase in global metal prices? And i can guarantee one thing...when the metal prices drop (which they will), the Pandora prices wont drop along side it. Grrr!

Here is the link to the March 2010 retired beads.....score them before they are gone.

This site list sthe safety chains as retiring? Are they releasing new ones :hrmm: .......I hope so we were just posting about that a few pages back.

Haha, great minds think alike, i was just looking at that last night too, and was going to post the link here today, you beat me to it!
I was surprised that all the safety chains are being retired too, they must be bringing out new ones? About time too!!;)

Woohoo, got the second rubber lined stopper for my leather bracelet this morning, so it's all complete now, here it is...
Question tho, do you think i need spacers on either side of the zen bead? I cant decide...
