Normamargot, hello and :welcome2:
OMG your bracelets are amazing!! Are they very heavy to wear? I have a charm bracelet which was my grandmother's, sadly i never wear it because the charms get caught in everything and i'm scared to break them. Thats why i love Pandora, the charms never get caught in things! :smile1:

Thanks so much for your welcome and questions!

Actually, for me the Pandora is heavier; the silver is more substantional, but it is a very definite plus that I can't yank or catch them on something and pull them off (I hope I never break the clasp). And sometimes I felt bad when my charms changled and made so much noise.

I have lost 2 beads off the pink one (one of the teachers found the train and returned it to me but I never found the scooter); from the green and yellow bracelet, I lost the Texas Star I had on it; and from the blue the cat I used to have on it lost it's blue stone.

For a couple of years (2004-2007) these Charms were everywhere (Macy's, Dillards, Bealls, Pagoda, etc.); I had a lot of fun hunting for them and adding to the collection. Now I hardly ever see them anymore.

Now I'm having so much fun with Pandora; I plan on getting the gold crown with the pink sapphires (I've never been into gold but this charm just speaks to me) soon and for now have bought the brown leather cord to wear it on!

I have a question, with the leather bracelets do the clips work on it?

When I bought the leather cord, I tried my clips from my silver bracelet on it and yes they do, thought I can't if over time the leather would stretch and it would loose it's grip.

And I am right ladies, that I've read on here that some of you have put silicone stoppers underneath them to help with gripping. Also I've seen a very sharp looking black bracelet using black stoppers and framing the suitcase bead!

This one.

I'm enjoying looking at all the beautiful pictures, ladies.

My boyfriend surprised me with a black double leather bracelet and suitcase charm for Christmas. I bought myself a couple of those black silicon rings to stop the charm moving around and I'm really happy with the result! May not be everyones cup of tea. Like my SS bracelet, I don't plan on having too many charms on this one.

SOME of the Chamilia beads are smaller than Pandora, but, in my experience, most of them are the same size. The Nemo bead, for example, is small, but the Motherhood bead is just like Pandora. My Peridot Rope bead is bigger than most of my Pandora beads though! It totally depends on the bead. I have found that the Chamilia glass is a little smaller than Pandora glass, but on my mom's bracelets it doesnt make any difference and they don't look out of place at all! You will all be able to see the bracelets as soon as I charge my camera, take a quality shot, and figure out how to upload it without having to use an outside source... In other words, SOON-ish!

I'm going to have to find a local retailler of Chamilia, there's so many gorgeous beads but i cant get an idea of how they'd look with my Pandora's.
Or simply start a Chamilia bracelet...:graucho:

Madkitty i'd think £20 at least. I recently sold a bunch of beads from my pink bracelet, and even though they were used, i got more than what i paid for some of them! One murano went for £26, my dog went for £18 (i paid £17!).

thanks Maria - did you put them on with or without boxes? I havent got any spare at the mo as I dont normally keep them but Im thinking it might be a better idea to buy the new ones and then sell the old ones with the boxes? Or does it not really matter?

When i listed mine, i photographed them in the charm boxes, but said in the listing that it wasn't included, but if the seller wanted one, i'd add an extra £1 onto the invoice (to cover the extra postage), but nobody wanted the box anyway so i dont think it matters!
If you want some boxes, let me know, i've got a drawer-full! :smile1:

When I sold my charms, I never sent with boxes but strung them on some nice ribbon to make it look pretty. Sending with boxes greatly increases the cost of shipping and usually the buyer nor seller wants that

I took a few pictures of my Pandora bracelets as they are right now.
The leather bracelet has my 2 favorite beads. The ladybug is the cutest and the 2 tone pearl dangle is a fav because its my kids birthstones together on one bead. The pearl is my son's (June) a pearl and the cz (diamond) is my daughter's (April). I love bracelet that has the chamilia mixed in with the pandora beads. The chamilia beads don't seem to be any different size wise from the pandora beads. My favorite bracelet is the 2 tone. I always always wear that. Every bead on that bracelet has special significance to me and my family.

LipGlossQueen, I've 4 beautifull bracelets!

And we can't even tell that the Chamilia's Disco Ball is from a different brand than the other beads, looks really good! The pink one is on my wishlist now ;)

Thanks for sharing!

So I need some Pandora help! I have a nearly completed bracelet with blue (enamel and cloisonee) and brown/bronze stones. Love it! Now I want to start a second one. I have a few "extra" beads (the Queen bee and the orange butterfly enamel) that I am not sure I want to use for a second or just string them on one of the fun new leather bracelets. I really like the new black and white fall beads, but not sure what a whole black and white bracelet looks like. Any help or photos??? Thanks!
