Very true it's like getting my Red Sox and Celtics (my other addiction) tickets on the first day of ticket release! Fun but stressful! Free shipping does make her items crazy cheap.

Hi Ladies!

I discovered this forum about 2 years ago when they had a Dooney Thread. I stuck around and lurked after they closed it down but I hadn't felt the urge to post until I discovered this thread and I might add I learned a lot going back and reading the orginal thread.

I have a serious charm addiction as evidenced by the photos (which I hope loaded right; I've been struggling with this for days). I have known of Pandora for about 3 years now. 4 of my friends have them (2 have almost completed their second bracelets); I myself started my principal off by purchasing her the bracelet (from the campus for Educational Adminstration Bosse's Day in May) and her first bead from me; an apple with the little worm; the apple being a symbol of eduacation.

3 of the other employees of the campus (who happen to be sister-in-laws has well have them too, as well as 2 having the necklace).

But I kept resisting (feeling that I had spent quite a bit on indulging myself with my other bracelets which I began collecting in 2004; however, 2 of my best friends had other ideas and bought me the bracelet, the lotsa love bead and present for me in November for my birthday.

It's only January and see how much I've bought already! OMG!

I dont have any of the Chamilia beads, i used to have one of the disney ones, Eeyore with the gold bow in his tail - soooo cute, but i found it was a bit smaller than my Pandora beads, so i sold him. Are Chamilia usually the same size as Pandora beads? I've looked at Chamilia online and i love a lot of their beads but i've never bought anymore for fear of them being smaller in size and getting lost among my Pandoras!

OMG your bracelets are amazing!! Are they very heavy to wear? I have a charm bracelet which was my grandmother's, sadly i never wear it because the charms get caught in everything and i'm scared to break them. Thats why i love Pandora, the charms never get caught in things! :smile1:

Maria..I went and looked at the Chamilia beads since I'm a disney nut...we visit WDW a few times a year since we belong to the Disney Vacation Club...some of the Disney beads were smaller than the Pandora beads...I bought the mickey bead that's pictured on my bracelet a few pages back since it was similar in size....I'm waiting until I can see other disney beads in person before I buy them....the chamila glass beads were smaller than the pandora glass beads...I had really wanted to buy the chamila minnie glass bead

I got the Chamilia Ladybug ( so cute with red cz's) the strawberry (red and light green cz's) the purple disco ball and limited edition heart w/ pink cz's for and x's for hugs and kisses (xoxoxo) My silver Pandora bracelet now has a mix. Was I wrong? Am I a traitor? I just loved the little red ladybug and the strawberry is so stinkin' cute. Please tell me I'm not wrong.hahaha.

LipGlossQueen, i've been looking for the Chamilia's disco ball in pink... it's soooo pretty! Are they as pretty in real as they appear in the chamilia's website? I'm very tempeted to get the pink one!
And... Are they smaller then the Pandora beads? Or do they look good together?

I'd really love to see some picts :)

Wow! Sooo many Pandora fans in one place lol. I am a new-ish Pandora addict and am two thirds of the way to completing my first silver bracelet. I have chosen to go with a purple/pink theme. I did think I could collect a couple of beads a year but have now realised this can not be th case and am carefully planning which beads I want fo my next 'gift' opportunity - (Valentines?) Am lucky enough to work in jewellers that stock Pandora!! LOVE IT X

I only have 3: the two-tone triangles bead with CZs, the two-tone ititial bead that has been retired (but I wish I had gotten another before they were gone!). I also have the Rope in Peridot that has been retired.

There are more Chamilia beads on my mom's bracelets. She has the Mother's Heart, the plain apple, Nemo, an anywhere lock, and a glass bead called Green silver, all on her Turquoise/Blue bracelet. She has Paisley Rose, an anywhere lock, and a glass bead from the Iridescent collection: Pink Copper! all on her Pink bracelet...pictures to come. Soon! (I promise)

SOME of the Chamilia beads are smaller than Pandora, but, in my experience, most of them are the same size. The Nemo bead, for example, is small, but the Motherhood bead is just like Pandora. My Peridot Rope bead is bigger than most of my Pandora beads though! It totally depends on the bead. I have found that the Chamilia glass is a little smaller than Pandora glass, but on my mom's bracelets it doesnt make any difference and they don't look out of place at all! You will all be able to see the bracelets as soon as I charge my camera, take a quality shot, and figure out how to upload it without having to use an outside source... In other words, SOON-ish!
