Hi Ladies, Has anyone here done a Pandora bracelet for a young girl? If so, what size bracelet did you get? I'm thinking of starting one for my 4 and a half year old daughter and I would like to do the bead clasp, but her wrists are so small I think that the 6.7 inch size would just fall right off. Has anyone done one of the 6.3 inch size lobster bracelet for a young girl? Also, if anyone has photos of bracelets that they have done for a younger girl, I would love to see them! Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have done a bracelet for my 6 yo daughter and my 2 yo niece. I chose the smallest size for both girls. Tbh the bracelets are pretty heavy for little girls. My daughter couldnt handle more than 3 beads and 2 fixed beads. She chose the turtle, a strawberry for him to eat and a heart with a diamonte. My niece has the teddy and 2 fixed beads and wont wear it!

Lvpandoragirl, pandoraholic, MissyMomToTwo and Littlsharon, thanks for the advice on the child's bracelet! I think I'll go with the 6.3 lobster bracelet. I'm thinking I'll buy clips and a few beads that my daughter has said she likes and save it for Christmas. She will be almost 5 by then. I will definitely only allow her to wear it for special occasions b/c she is pretty rough on her jewelry! I just can't resist the idea of a tiny Pandora and that way she would have a bracelet just like Mom's (and Grandma's)!

dalmunchkin-

So sweet of you to get the bracelet for your granddaughter...grandmother's are sooo special; she's love having a bracelet like yours and her Mommy.:D

Kandi, I'm getting it for my daughter not my granddaughter! My kids are only 4 and 7! I was just commenting that my daughter would have one like me and her grandmother. My mom and I like to shop for Pandora together and it's fun to get another generation started on it...:yahoo:

Goodness sorry about that...LOL

We are the same! My Mum and I have Pandora and its really nice to have 3 generations wearing it. My daughters wrist is so tiny that the pandora looks adorable. It looks the size of a dolls bracelet!

I love the thought of 3 generations collecting and wearing Pandora.

I've slowly spreading my obsession. My Sister in law bought a bracelet and 3 charms after seeing mine when she was holiday in Australia from the UK. I've just given my other sister in law one for her birthday this week (silver bracelet with purse & circle of hearts) and my another sister in law wants one for Christmas.
I love it. I get to buy Pandora and give them as gifts. I can't wait for Christmas to buy more for everyone LOL

I did just pick up my silver flower safety chain. Going to get 2 white with dots muranos next.

This is my step daughter's bracelet. She is now six and has had it since she was 3. I bought her her's for Xmas that year and loved it so much went back the next day with my DH to get me one. I got her a 17cm barrel clasp bracelet and it fits her perfectly now that it is full. Her wrist is 15 cm (bigger than mine) She only wears it on special occassions or go "shopping" but she would love to be able to wear it to school as her teachers do! She now has a silver necklace with the barrel clasp which we started earlier this year. I LOVE my jewellery and I love being able to "share" something with her.

It does not live in her jewellery box - but in mine for safe keeping, as it is worth a small fortune.. I hope to be able to collect them for her for years.

Ladies, I am so upset! I dropped my bracelet today and the amethyst dangle on my grape charm cracked right in half!! I could only find one half of it, who knows what happened to the other half! I purchased it from Kendalldew so I think my chance of getting a store to replace it is slim to none. Anybody have this happen to them? UGH! :crybaby:

Mitties27 -- I am sorry that your bead broke. What a bummer. I have never had to ask a replacement bead from a retailer where I didn't purchase it, but I have gotten an exchanged bracelet size. I needed a smaller bracelet as a gift, but I honestly couldn't remember which of the stores I frequent was the original place of purchase. I ended up going to the place that is the closest to my home and they exchanged it, no questions asked. I was prepared to plead my case, but it wasn't necessary there.

Because you got it on ebay, I don't think that Pandora will take it back. I think the 3rd party purchase voids the warranty. I hope that kendalldew offers up another one for you! Again, sorry about the bead. :shucks:

Take it to your nearest retailer and tell them it was a gift. They will most likely send it to Pandora and then see what Pandora says. They might replace it so its worth a shot. Pandora dont like unhappy customers. You can say it just broke while you were wearing it.

i've been reading this thread with intense interest and i have to say that you ladies know everything there is about pandora. i'm thinking of starting a bracelet for my daughter- she's only 10 mos old now but hey, it's never too early right? i'm going to visit some pandora dealers here in toronto, but are there any reliable sellers on ebay? i'm going to new york city in october, are there good pandora stores there that you can recommend? thanks.

Sorry I can't help you with stockist (as I live in Aus) but others in US swear by Kendelldew (seller on Ebay). Welcome to the world of Pandora. I am sure you will LOVE making a bracelet for your daughter. I bet you end up with one yourself!. I agree - it's NEVER to young to start getting nice jewellery!

Hi, I have bought many times from Collectabead and the bead-bucket on ebay and they seem to be very reliable. You will have a great time doing a bracelet for your daughter and it will be so special when you give it to her, and she knows you started it when she was so little. I just started one for my 4 and a half year old daughter. I haven't gotten the bracelet yet but I just ordered the first bead (frog) which she chose. Good luck with yours!
