Looks like Santa was nice to us gals this year!

I received beads from my wish-list and was able to complete my two-tone. I would ultimately like to swap out gold beads for the yellow Muranos but since I am planning out a brown bracelet my priority is with that one.

I too don't wear partially filled bracelets, I don't like the way they fall on my wrist. So now that my two-tone is done I can actually enjoy wearing it!

Your bracelet is beautiful! One of these days I have to plan out and redo some of my bracelets. I started collecting 5 years ago and never really planned any out, just added as I bought the beads. You inspire me!

mariame2, your bracelet is gorgeous  I do think the silver looks stunning against the oxidised. My pink-themed bracelet is on oxidised silver, but you'd never know cause its all full up. Thats why i quite like the idea of just a partially filled one.

Are you able to return your swan at all? He's too handsome not to be worn!

thanks maria :D my next bracelet will be a silver one. I would have probably bought it already but I'm not sure the size i have is going to be good it just keeps getting tighter as im filling up. As for the swan im going to see what i could do about the excess silver that is blocking the bead from turning onto the bracelet.

Here is my completed silver with a little touch of gold. I love it!

My second one I want colour, I think I'm going for a blue theme with this one.

ooooooooh beadbaby my favorite color is blue. When I'm done with my first i want one with the blue murano I think it called the captivating bead or somthing like that I'm probably butchering the name but i love the color.

My first bracelet was 19cm, and although its fairly snug when its full, its ok. My other bracelets after that have been a 20cm, just because i do prefer a slightly looser fit. My best advice is to go into your store and ask them if you can try on some full bracelets in different sizes - they will probably have them on display anyway. Then you get a better idea of the correct size to go for! :smile1:

Hi Ladies

I am glad you all sound like you had a lovely Christmas and that it was Pandora filled!

My DSD got a fish from my sister and the snowman from Santa. I got the Christmas tree from Santa and a little gold boy from my DH and DSD. I wasn't expecting the little boy (as we don't have any boys in the family - but I am pregnant so you never know....), my DSD choose it as she thought it would be nice to have a boy next to my gold girl and I must admit it does! I feel very spoilt!

I hope you are all able to have a nice break over the "festy" season.

hi!! wow, you moved on to gold!! congrats!! have you seen any deals for the 14k strawberry lately? i think the lowest i ever saw was $200 usd...

Thanks for the compliment. While the bracelet looks 'planned' it really isn't. I started collecting beads in November and since I favor a balanced look I simply collected charms in pairs. No easy feat since often time my local dealers only had one in stock. I still have some brown oval lights on special order, I'll never do that again, rather I'll buy online for instant gratification.

Right now, I'm collecting charms in pairs to build a brown theme bracelet. I just buy what I like. I also want a green theme bracelet and I'm going to buy three of each charm so that each of the three sections is identical. The muranos and colored stones are so pretty, I can't resist them.

Buying 'multiples' allows me to enjoy the charms I like no matter how the bracelet falls on my wrist. And, it's much faster to build a bracelet this way because I have less to choose.

The drawback to my style is that I don't enjoy the variety of charms that some of you do that have all different charms on your bracelets.
