Hi everyone, i love all the bracelets everyone has created!!! I just recently got into pandora and i'm totally obsessed. I really, really wanted a swan and I did get one but I think its fake!!! Where is the swan stamped could that help me figure out if its fake? Also it won't screw on the bracelet all the way. Looks like it has an excess of material on one side. Could it be just a defective one? I tried to scrape it off but it won't come off thinking of taking a drill to it to take it off (i work in a dental office)

I purchased a Ugly Duckling/Swan from an authorized Pandora dealer and it's stamped on the bottom. 925 ALE

There are LOTS of counterfeit charms out there, be careful. Perhaps return the charm if you believe it's a fake, especially if it's not stamped. Most Most Pandora charms are marked ALE. The 925 is of course the stamp for sterling silver. Some charms have no room for the stamps, the Ugly Ducking/Swan does.

Just checked the Australian site and I guess they're not here yet..hoping they'll arrive! They're so cute!

Hehehe I'm thinking they might go on my second bracelet...uh-oh! pandora is so addictive :rofl:

I have a swan bead, and as sakthorp said, it has 925 ALE stamped on the bottom, at its tail!! I think where you bought it from will be an indication whether its fake or not, as MOST beads are stamped, as far as i'm aware (correct me if i'm wrong ladies!!) Pandora only brought in the ALE stamp two or three years ago. So if it was from an authorised dealer, i'd return it too. Let us know what happens!

naima_melita, you couldn't be more right when you say Pandora is addictive!! I'm going shopping later on today (thankfully weather is ok - a little snow wont stop me from getting my Pandora!), and i cannot wait to use the vouchers i got - for the start of my fourth bracelet!!! :party:

I know, fourth...yikes!! :sweatdrop: I swore that my third was to be my last, but now that its nearly finished (i'm waiting on getting a couple of beads in the mail, one gold, one two-tone), well...what am i to do?? And then i got Pandora vouchers for Christmas, so i really have to start another!!!

It truely is such an addictive obsession which i have no control over. :shame::shrugs:

hi there im new to pandora and me and my sister both got pandora bracelets for out christmas from a trusted store. they are both identicle and stamped with ALE 925 inside the clip, the only difference is the O in pandora on my clip does not have the little design on top of mine! please help i am worried i have a fake one and the bracelets were bought in september so its too late to return it. thank you Zoe

naima_melita, yes all my bracelets have different themes. My first one started out being blue and pink, but i had too many beads, so i kept it just blue. Hence, i had lots of pretty pink beads left over - so bracelet number 2 began!
Then i wanted to do a yellow one, which has developed into yellow/gold/two-tone, which i'm still working on! Oh, and i also have a lariat which i love :heart: Actually, if you check back a few pages, you'll probably find pics of them :smile1:

Dont worry about the bracelets, they're both perfectly genuine. The crown design above the O is on the newer bracelets, as far as i'm aware, they just started doing that a few months ago.
Hope that puts your mind as ease! :smile1:
