Pandora bracelets... continued!!!

Since you are all experts here I am wondering if any of you have heard of a Pandora bead that is a top hat with "200 years" written on it. I saw the one with HCA on it but have never seen the Alice in Wonderland bead. Thanks for the help.

I think you're talking about the same bead. I have the HCA hat has "HCA" on one side and "200 years" on the other.
I so love it, I wish that Pandora would make some more fairy tale beads. I have the Ugly Duckling and the Princes and the Pea beads flanking the HCA bead. So cute!

If there is such thing as an Alice in Wonderland bead, I've never seen it or heard of it but if there's such thing then I MUST HAVE IT!

I started collecting when I went to purchase a Vera Bradley purse for my mom and they sold Pandora. The shoppe owners were so nice helping me deal with all the prints and the female owner had the bracelet on. It was beautiful.I love two tone so I traded in all my non-sentimental teenage gold at a local jeweler and made a two tone creation.

I feel like I am a veteran Pandora collector--LOL-- I started my 1st bracelet five years ago. My Pandora story is simple... my local jeweler started carrying the line and I fell in love with the apple with the worm bead. Having a real love for charm bracelets, I knew that this was for me! Now I have a great collection of beads and bracelets, and depending on the day, think that my collection is nearing completion...until Pandora releases more beads that I can't live without!

I wear one of my three completed bracelets each day and sometimes layer them with a Pandora bracelet that is pretty empty. I have tried to wear 2 full ones together, but I feel like they are competing with each other.

My latest Pandora count:
*Full: green theme
*Full: black and red
*Full: two-tone, no glass

*In progress: neutrals (yellow glass and wooded beads)
*In progress: shine and bling (clear CZ beads)

hello everyone
well the found add for the HCA hat has been up for a week and still no reply. i will keep it up there for a couple more.
the latest news on my bracelet-
i ordered and received the retired asian symbol for eternity
i also found out that im getting the two tone safety chain and golden strawberry from my mom for christmas. my brother is getting me the queen bee. i dont know this for certain but i think my mom is also getting me a couple muranos as well.
and the biggest news of all....my tom is going to be done with his semester on wednesday and coming home for winter break by thursday!
i am so excited to see him for more than a weekend. gives me more time to take him pandora shopping with me
he asked me what i wanted for christmas the other day and i actually thought long and hard about this one...and then it came to me.
the little car charm!
it doesnt make sense now but heres the story-
on our first date we were going to go watch a movie and eat at a little place at our town's mall. well the movie was sold out so we went to get our food and find a place to sit when the alarms started ringing and we had to evacuate the mall lol. some fight or something.
well we were left with food in our hands and out in the cold. so we went to his jeep and ate in there. it actually turned out to be great. we ended up laying in the back seat and talking for hours in the mall parking lot. lol. great memories
the car charm would be perfect, i kinda think it looks a little like a jeep and the little heart on the bumper is adorable.

Hi everyone - I haven't been on here for ages so it was great to get on and have to catch up on over 10 pages of Pandora talk! I still have the same pandora as the last time I posted on here and the picture thread. Mine's 2-tone with white/yellow muranos I absolutley love it still and wear it every day.

I was such a pandoraholic and had to have all the neads all at once. Unfortunatley, I'm still paying the credit card off after my spending!! I was planning on starting a pink bracelet but then I decided that we need to get our family a but more better off finacially before I can justify spending more $$$ on myself - that's a bit selfish of me!

I love all the new bracelets and just going to have a look at the other thread to see what's happening!

Here is my story.

Last year, before Xmas, I was reading a thread on the disboards:
"What is on your Xmas' list?" A few ladies had Pandora on their lists.
Then I checked Pandora over the internet and I felt in love.
I got one SS bracelet and the gift bead for last Xmas.
Twelve months later, it is full and SS and pink.
I also got the gold clasp SS bracelet and the two tone Love bead on it.
Pandora is an addiction.:sunnies

How did i discover Pandora????? Well a friend has a very cheap bracelet full of cheap looking (sounds snobby but really it is not great) beads she's got from ebay for a few $ each. She was showing me the Pandora site on the net and saying how she couldn't believe that people paid those sort of prices- but she did like the charms. I really thought nothing of her bracelet- but she loves it which is what counts and i'd never say anything bad to her because she really couldn't afford the real deal.

Anyway that was how i 1st heard of it and wasn't overly impressed as i'd only seen my friends cheap beads IRL. So when i went Christmas Shopping last year with hubby i decided to hunt down a Pandora stockist in the mall we went to. I left with a SS bracelet, the older pink cz handbag, the pink cz heart and a heart spacer- costing $200 ish i thought it was sooooo VERY expensive and thought it would take ages to fill. Xmas Day Hubby also suprised me with the SS Bead with gold and clear CZ flowers and a pink murano as well- that was it it had to be filled and i was a women on a mission whenever i went to the shops i looked at Pandora. Then in May I turned 30 and finished off my bracelet with 2 Gold beads the PINK CZ flower from friends and family, the ruby spacer from my in laws and a gold safety chain from hubby.- Oh but i'd already bought myself the 2 tone bracelet by then so i had a 2nd to complete 2.

They've both been full since August with the exception of one bead i added last week- I have sold a few in the past on ebay- ones that didn't feel right anymore. A few others i removed i added to my 5 year old daughters bracelet- Yes I got her a baby Pandora for Valentines Day this year when she was just 4!!!! Lol

Hmm, i can relate to your thoughts on the cheaper, not-great looking beads/bracelets. I have a friend who decided to get a Pandora after seeing mine, but she couldn't afford the real thing either, and it looks pretty bad, but i have to keep my enthusiasm over it. The silver plating on the beads is wearing off, she's got tacky looking gold-plate. Ooh, i sound like such a bi*ch, sorry! I thought about getting a real Pandora bead for Christmas, but all the others would make it look bad
If you collect your beads here and there, just getting one on special occassions etc, it needn't cost that much really.

OMG...a baby Pandoraholic, lol! How cute! I've never seen one on a little girl, i think i'd just die of cuteness overload. How lovely to be able to pass on the obsession to someone else...umm, i mean, the addiction!!!:lolots:

Does everyone wear their Pandora everyday, or is it just a special occassion thing? Unless i'm having a lazy day at home, doing housework and dog walking, i wear mine every day. I doing believe in keeping things for special occassions - everyday is special!

Maria, I got started on Pandora almost a year ago. I have been working at home for about 7 years since my first child was born, and I hadn't bought any jewelry in a long time since I don't get dressed up for work any more. Well, after 7 years I finally decided I wanted to get back into getting some jewelry and I had seen several friends with Pandora bracelets so I decided to check them out online. I decided I loved them, and my husband ended up buying me a two-tone bracelet full of beads (I got to pick them out) for my birthday this past January. I have since done a second two-tone Pandora and a Chamilia bracelet and I really enjoy wearing them.

Hi, I looked on that website and those are not authentic Pandora beads. They are from Hong Kong and the designs are completely different. If your friend likes the authentic Pandora charms I wouldn't buy there. The only place I have seen Pandora charms at a discount online is belloparadiso.com which sells them at 10 percent off. Not sure if they carry the full line but I have bought from them before and been pleased.

(Sadly,) I only wear mine on special days when I'm not working - I have to wash my hands often, sometimes with harsh products, and I am too scared I'll damage it in any way.

My story with Pandora started around June/July of last year - I was doing some shopping and I noticed these bracelets on a stand, just a couple of chains and a small tray with some silver beads on it, and I thought it would be too cute to "choose" your bracelet. I also noticed the price and didn't even go inside the store Now that I think about it, I'm almost sure they weren't even Pandora brand - no logos, the display tray was wooden....
But I got home, and the beads wouldn't get out of my head. I hope this amuses someone: I didn't have any reference, so I googled "bracelet with twisted thing", because I'm not english, so the words beads/sections/screw mechanism didn't mean much at the time I did find images that matched what I had seen, and that lead me to Pandora site and dream land

I bought my bracelet on Sept 1st, and it has come this way:
