I love everyone's bracelets. I really am loving the silver/gold combo. I was trying to go that route, but it seems that now every bead has a meaning so it's going hodge podge right now. That's okay, because I want more bracelets anyway.

How are you guys buying beads and getting some free?

In only 4 or so weeks I will become a grandmother for the first time. That sounds so old... ugh. My youngest 2 kiddies are 6 and 8 so I don't feel too grandmotherly. :)
So... to that end, it seems only fitting I get a bead to commemorate my foray into the grandmother way of life.
Any ideas? I have not actually got any beads that mean anything specific yet, just collected ones I like, so this will also be a first for me.

Thank you :)

Just Daisy, oh you can have so much fun, congratulations.

How about the silver owl for the wisdom that you can bestow on your grandchild in the future?

Or the tree of life?

If you wanted gold how about the Queen Bee, depending on your personality? Or the Angle in silver or gold?

Well the postman disappionted me doh! I will have to wait a whole 22 hours now to see my new bead! Patience is not my strongest virtue hehe.

They probably post internationally
Pandora is very strict with their retailers, and they don't let them post from one country to another - that's why we can't get them in Aus from the USA - the way around that is eBay of course, or getting someone to buy it in the country and post it to you.
I don't know why they have this specific rule - I just know that they do. I wanted the jewellery box before it was avail here, I found a place that posted internationally, put in the order, but was then contacted to say that they weren't allowed to ship Pandora overseas.

Love the photos everyone!!

I've just been on that "Gilletts" site and it appears they do ship free to New Zealand and the free bead promotion does apply to us too. However our exchange rate is quite poor at the moment so I'm not sure if we would gain much. Some of the stores here have buy 5 charms and get 1 free - others have a point system.

You just cannot imagine the number of things we wish we could get that you can get in the US.
Although I wish you could too. Getting a free bead is a lovely surprise. Do you have shops that give you a frequent shopper card or anything like that?
Like some of you have mentioned 'Trunk' shows, well I have never heard of them, however I have registered for a 'Pandora' evening that one of the shops here are holding in April. Might be when some new charms come out....here's hoping, I'd love a new purse or handbag bead, as I also love handbags!!

Your bracelet is so well done; I wish I had your discipline. Mine is just a mixture of stuff with no real design. I keep telling myself that my next bracelet will be orderly but we'll see. :p BTW, the gold safety guard is TDF...great job.:woohoo:

Thank you for your kind words, Kandi:smile1: Regarding the flexibility of the bracelet, I took that into consideration when I chose my beads. I used spacers and some smaller beads to make sure my other beads could move back and forth a bit and the bracelet, itself, could flex.

See I have no discipline... I saw beads I liked and got them and really didn't "plan" my bracelet. My bracelet was filled three weeks or so after I started it. :shame: I intend to do it differently with the next one I will plan and slowly make it beautiful. Thanks for the tips Risingsun.

Not that I know of, but next time I go I will have to ask if they willl be doing this sort of thing. It is a fairly new shop.
