It's my birthday on the 30th.... and I am hopeful. Really hopeful. :)
My lovely husband has "ideas".... hope they translate into a sizeable amount of beads.

On my weight loss programme.... at the end of week one, I lost 2 kgs!! :yahoo:
I am on my way to my swish new bracelet, this is not to be confused with my birthday bead/s. :)

Happy Australia day girls! Any ozzie sites to contribute? Does everyone know about the free bead from Gilletts when you spend $100 on beads?

Way to go! I think I am going to join in with you, :) now do I get a new bead for every 1 kilo or 2kilos? :D

I love all the pics of the bracelets. :heart: I will try and post a pic of mine soon. It is so close to being full but don't know if I will call it finished till I have the right beads on it but I will post a pic anyway.

Ok bye for now, we are off to have dinner and watch the Australia day fireworks. :party:

wow theres some beautiful bracelets about, i cant make my mind up whether to go for all ss or ss/gold mix!!! decisions! maybe i should have two bracelets on the go!! if your looking for retired beads then check out uk sites. me me me accsessories and bedazzled are good, we must discontinue beads later over here as ive seen loads that are discontinued else where. im not sure if they post abroad but its worth asking.

Your bracelet is so well done; I wish I had your discipline. Mine is just a mixture of stuff with no real design. I keep telling myself that my next bracelet will be orderly but we'll see. :p BTW, the gold safety guard is TDF...great job.:woohoo:

Question? I had my bracelet so tight with beads that the beads didn't move anymore and the bracelet was stiff which couldn't have been good for it. Now after removing two beads it looks better but also looks like maybe another bead could go on it. I keep playing with it trying to get that last bead on it but end up taking it off. Does anyone else have the same issue? Do you have a totally full bracelet or do you leave room for movement? :confused1:

I managed to get my DSD 3 free beads over the Xmas period from Gillets. We have 3 email addresses (one for each of us), so we ended up getting 3 coupons to use. I was going to get a necklace, some clips and a safety chain so we split up the purchases over the 3 "customers" to get the free beads.

Not sure of any other sites that give away beads if send over a certain amount or % off. Anyone else?

Leave some room for movement - that is what my jeweller recommended. My DSD really wanted to add another charm to hers but it would not "flex" well enough and they refused to sell her the bead (very disappointing for her!) :confused1:

Depending on how long you have had your bracelet - they do stretch so you may be able to fit that bead on in a couple of months!

Mine is still in the shop getting shortened. I can't wait to get it back!!! I will have quite a few charms that will not fit on my bracelet as it was full at the stretched length. My necklace will benefit from the ones that don't fit. :yahoo:

I used it, it was great. The selection of free beads is not huge but you should be able to find something that will work.

I bought a safety chain and 2 clips, so managed to get a heart bead for free and when it arrived it was beautifully wrapped and presented. :)
I love freebies. :yes:

Thanks I actually think it looks so much better with room to move. I will simply have to start on that new bracelet..soon...what fun!!!;) If you haven't posted pixs already of your necklace I'd love to see it.
