Happy New Year all Pandora addicts. Hope chrissy was nice to all. Just back from a few days away. Sunny Day love your bracelet. Hoping to finish mine very soon. I have nearly collected all the retired Aust beads. So I am now a having a lovely start to 2009. Pram beads are fab. I am sure everyone here will help to locate the right one when the time comes.

Hi All,

I chatted with the owner of a local bead store about an internet resource of inexpensive glass beads. She was kind enough to give me the source she uses for her store. They sell most beads in sets of 3 and they run around 5.00. You can get some mixed sets for the same price and they do sell their sterling silver core ones individually for 5.00. I've seen these in person and they are attractive. No, they aren't the same quality of say Troll's glass or Pandora's. That said, they are fun to use while you wait to acquire the good ones/and or give you some variety:

oh dear, I decided to take off all the non pandora beads that I had on my two bracelets, and just wear the pandora ones for now. I was amazed how many I had that arnt pandora, and I have to say that you can tell the differance, the oxidisation has come off a few of them, and they are diifferant sizes. I now only have one completed bracelet, and one with a safety chain, a clip and the teacup bead.I am going to take my time filling the second one with memorable beads, as I went a bit mad over the first one!! I know I am being silly by keeping changing my mind with my bracelet!!! First of all I said that I was only going to put a few beads in between the two clips, then I took a bracelet back, and swapped it for some spacers, then I went a bit mad and got some non pandora beads, and now I have changed my mind again!!!!

Sorry for my indecisiveness ladies, I know I am a pain, but I have finally come to realise what you have all been saying, that Pandora beads really are the best option. Please dont judge me, I am only human!!!

It is not a total waste though, I am selling a few beads on ebay (someone will love them I am sure!), and I have given a few to my mum and sister, so they are happy. I dont want to think of all the money I have spent buying non pandora, but I think I had to try the other beads so that I could be sure what I wanted.

thank you for letting me rant ladies, I have tried to put a photo on, but I have noooooo idea how to do it. I just thought I would let you all know that pandora has made me insane!!!

I am a hard core Pandora fan, but something in a Zamel's store caught my eye today, they have a new range of Pandora knock offs, and I have to say, the gold spacers were quite nice, I ended up buying two of them! Plus I bought their cat bead, because it looks more like a cat than the Pandora one does (I think Pandora's cat looks like a rabbit) a couple of their plain CZ ones looked quite good too nice and sparkly. However quite a lot of them did look like cheap Pandora's, but the gold spacers are 9ct instead of 14, so are a bit bigger, and a bit cheaper - and I thought a good way to add a little more gold without the high cost.
Worth having a look at if you are in OZ.
I was wearing 3 Pandora bracelets, and my necklace when I went into the shop, and the sales girl would only get out one bead at a time, and put it back if I wanted to look at another one! I felt like pointing out that she really didn't need to worry about me stealing one of her beads - I could well afford to buy them!!

Hi ladies. I have a Troll bracelet with some Troll, some Chamilia, and some Pandora beads on it. My daughters got me the Pandora cupcake bead for Christmas, and I am so thrilled!

One day I will take a picture of my bracelet and post it. I actually have two sets of glass beads, one in shades of dark blue and one in shades of white, and I switch them off to make it look like totally different bracelets.

To the previous poster who mentioned that the Pandora cat looks like a rabbit- my thoughts exactly!! The cat was my first bead, but I have never really cared for it because it looks like a rabbit. You are so right.

Hello to everyone. I am so glad that I have found you all cos I've been feeling like I've gone out of my mind! Think if I hadn't found this site I would have been seperated by the weekend. This strange obsession has become me since the 22nd Dec when I chose my xmas gift from DH.... a pandora bracelet with 4 charms! I can't stop playing with it and planning what I NEED from the brochure that came with it. DH brought me another bead on NYE but its like a drug..... I NEED MORE. Is this normal????:nuts:

Lorna, welcome to the obsession! You are completely normal - that is, as normal as the rest of us who are all addicted! We all go through it! My advice would be, don't say too much to the husband... but if he asks, "what do you want for valentine's day?" just give him a list of bead numbers!

Welcome new addicted Ladies!

Just tell your husbands that there are worse addictions to have! (I'm sure you can think of some - just make them sound really ugly, how they could ruin your looks, health etc!) :roflmfao: Pandora will only dent the bank balance.

I am so lucky that my husband understands - in fact he can be worse than me! He bought me my first gold beads....
He does clay pigeon shooting and never has anything to show for all the clays and bullets he buys (he also got a new gun recently $2900) for example I think he spent about $250 yesterday and when they are all gone they are gone, I think he feels that my Pandora evens the balance out.

Pjaye - Could you please post pictures? Zamels is over 2.5 hours away from me and I would love to see the spacers. I googled it and found that they stock Amorica Beads but I can't find any on line to have a sticky beak at.

I do feel so much better now. DH just smiled one of those smiles when I broke the news that this was normal and I had found a group of like minded ladies. The smile cracked a little when I (quickly) mentioned that my wish list had been updated to include two tone beads as your bracelets look amazing and its a great way to coordinate with my wedding band etc. Oh well in for a penny in for a pound so they say! Lol.

Can anyone share their experiences with *Bay sellers? I am trying to find someone that has dealt with allbeads88 before. They ship First class mail and insurance is not offered so I really would like to hear some first-hand experiences.

pjaye-I seen pic's on ebay from sellers who selling 9ct gold spacers, they look big bigger on Pandora bracelet:sad:, that because I dont buy anything but Pendora.Can we see pic on your new bead/spacers:graucho:
