Congrats Golden Touch...I keep looking at them,and Im so afraid of getting sucked into a $$$ habit. Im just **s l o w l y** getting out of the bag habit,and I promised this year I would really think my purchases through,but Im failing miserably at the moment LOL.

Im already putting together (in my mind) a topaz & mother of pearl one....ooohhhh

Maybe you can get the bracelet now, and for babys birth & every babys milestone get a bead:) Wouldnt that be precious??!!

I have 3 lil girls so I try to justify all of it by saying its for them:)

about eBay, I use authentic Pandora too - but there is still lots of crud that comes up, they shouldn't be allowed to put that in the listing if it isn't authentic, plus it must backfire, because people who collect Pandora, know that their stuff is fake anyway.
I wish there was a way you could 'block' a seller from coming up in those searches.
I used to buy from a lady called Liz Dan*** (won't spell it all out) but I tried searching for her the other day and couldn't find her - did she change her name on there? I think she may be the same person as collectabead? She started out REALLY cheap, and I was worried I wasn't going to get my first order, but while it was slow, it did arrive and all was perfect with it.
I got the silver daisy beads, with the gold accents and diamond, which is $171 AU for $103 AU, But slowly her prices went up, and now with the AU dollar not so good, it doesn't make it worth buying on ebay at present.

GT - I was just looking at Gilletts - and they have the gold pram in stock, in both styles? Isn't that what you are looking for??

The trick I learned is to use the minus sign in front of words you want to exclude from the search. And since so many non-P. bead listings say "fits" or "4" pandora, your search word line might look like this:

authentic pandora bead -biagi -chamilia -lovelinks -troll -fits -for -4

Give it a shot!

I'm pretty sure she is Discount Pandora, and she is SLOW from what I hear and the communication isn't great either, as my friend bought from her - and she is not that low $$ so I wouldn't bother... Collectabead is very fast and reputable, IMO.

It is lots better, but I just copied and pasted, what you wrote above, and for an Australia only search, 4 out of the first 5 are not Pandora,,,however it has weeded out a lot of the junk, so thanks, it will make it a little easier. But obviously the sellers know how to use the listing to get their item to show up.

OK, I added -suit -style, and that really made a difference! Thanks, will save this search now for the future

Sunny Day, she used to be very low priced about a year ago, but now she isn't, and yes, slow and no communication, but the beads all got here and they were all genuine, so it used to be worth it, but I agree her prices did go up, which is why I hadn't bought from her for awhile.

Yes it is. They are still current for Aus but I am worried that they will be discontinued before I have my child (I haven't had much luck...:tdown:). I am not due end Aug - early Sep and I am worried they will be discontinued by then.

I have never wanted to find out what the sex would be until "birth day" due to wanting a surprise - however I told my hubby that if I hear they are going to be discontinued before then and I can find out, I will so I can layby one. He rolled his eyes.... He he.

I don't think they would retire that bead, their whole advertising campaign is around "for the special moments" and the birth of a baby is always going to generate a sale of a bead like this.
Anyway, you could put them both on lay-by at different shops, pick up the most appropriate one, and then "change your mind" and get a different bead at the second shop :p

I saw in a jewellery shop the other day a Pandora keyring. It was a silver heart and pink with the logo on one side. They said it was not sterling silver just a promo item. Spend $200 and it was yours free. I was wondering then what other Pandora non charms are available to the addict? I am sure there must be stuff out there. USA girls have the most fun as we do not have your truck shows (no idea what they are here in Aust)

Got to share this with you all- its official Pandora bracelets are beautiful (as if we didn't know that)!!!! Lol. Speaking to DH and whilst he is a lovely man and a great father, he is just that... a man. He doesn't ever notice anything and I was admiring my bracelet last night as we were watching a film and he said "I can see why you are taken with it. It is a very good looking bracelet!" That is the biggest complimant EVER!

I know exactly where you are coming from Golden Touch. My bracelet was brought to give me reminders of my two children as they grow up. I have a 4 yr daughter (who has already told her Daddy that she has to buy me the butterfly as she is butterfly mad) and a 6 month old son. We lost 7 to get our 2 and I can think of nothing nicer than to celebrate that time in my life when I felt complete! My first bead was the pram!

One quick question (I have so many)- will some more beads be released now we have reached 2009 and if so when?

I'm pretty sure new beads come out twice a year, spring and fall... and here in the U.S. we have 'trunk shows' which are another name for fashion shows. In the store, a Pandora rep is present and helps people choose/rearrange beads, that sort of thing - and often you get something with a purchase. They used to offer a free SS lobster-clasp bracelet with a $100 purchase (and you could upgrade your lobster-clasp to a bead clasp for $15). Recently, it was a suede jewelry box, or the keychain.

Oh, just remembered, I got an email from a local store and they said Pandora will be having monthly promotions! Here's the text:

"This year it seems as if Pandora will be offering a different promotion every month. We usually only know a month in advance (February will be a keychain). For January, with your $100 Pandora purchase, you will receive a free traveling jewelry roll. We just got them in and they look great! We are leaving soon for market to see all the new beads - we'll keep you posted!"
