Isn't it crazy the mark up on discontinued!? Near $700 for the gold strawberry!

I have the gold strawberry on layby. My jeweller said that it is not discontinued (she has a sticky beak on line) and that they can still get plenty but that is here in Aus.

Can't be bothered going into town today. I have just spent 4 hours slaving in the garden. I've decided that fertility treatment and hard work don't mix - I feel quite dreadful. :faint:

I think I'll veg for the rest of the afternoon and my strawberry will have to stay at the shop. :p

Where do you think the best is for Pandora beads or do you cyber shop?
I am gonna have to get used to them IRL first before being that brave

ive been looking at getting the 2 tone hearts safety chain.

on some pandora sites they sell the safety/security chain at different lengths. 5cm 6cm and i think i saw 7cm?

my bracelet is 20cm. is there a particular length security chain i should buy? :confused1:

I live on the opposite side of Chicago as you : ))) All the way north!

The Jarred Jewelry stores all have them - but honestly - it's cheaper to cyber shop - no tax & free shipping... SunnyDay (another poster on this thread) lives close to me - we met about a month ago to check them out at the Jarred's in Skokie - they had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many - it's was great!!!!! I think there may be one near Orland for you to check it out!!!! I have been meaning to go explore over there since my gram lives close by!!!

bekstar1 I can order those beads for you. There are three beads in the moonscape series. Did you want the missing one (pink) I think. The local jewellery shop has that one as well. Yeah! the tax here is crazy and when you have a larger purchase, it could total the price of another bead or two.
It does seem that the Jared stores are the place to look at them - there is the one in Orland and then there is one in Lombard close to where I work. Think I am going to have to make a lunch trip!

Hey TTOne and LVChicago - yes, welcome (hey girlfriend!) and I think Jared's is a great place to look, get a catalog and really examine all the beads close up. Then you can troll eBay with catalog in hand and compare prices (and make sure beads are authentic). Altho I haven't had any problems, I did once see what I am pretty sure was a fake, so just be sure to look closely at images.

Look on the internet for finished bracelet ideas so you can begin to see the possibilities and think about how you want yours to look.

Hello!! I have been very naughty and have got another bracelet! I saved for ages so that I could fill it up, and I thought I may as well go ahead and buy it, seeing as how it is xmas!!!

It is all silver like the other one I have (I have no idea how to put pictures online, sorry girls), but it is a 19cm instead of 20cm, it is a good contrast. I am being an idiot though and worrying that they are going to get really scratched and damaged. do any of you wear two bracelets all the time? any damage or problems I shoud be aware of? I heard a lady in the shop yesterday saying that her bracelet had stretched, can this happen? I am flapping now, I do apologise, I worry about everything!!!

No worries, I wear more than one bracelet and they hold up just fine. I layer lots of jewelry and haven't had any problems.

Happy Holidays all!!! Can't wait to see everyones new goodies!! That is if you have been good....OR......Very, very bad!! :graucho:
