I got my bracelet on Sat and jeez, it looks so...naked. I have 2 beads and am itching to fill it up a bit. One good bit of news is that pandora-beads.com is local so the shipping is only 1-2 days from the day I place my order.
I also ordered another bracelet. My wrist is 14.5 cm and I have the 7.5in bracelet, even when it is filled with beads its still gonna be too loose for my liking (I like my bracelets snug) I just ordered the 7.1in and will give my sister the bigger one next month for her birthday.

kmh1190, welcome to the forum :yahoo:! I felt the same way when I got my bracelet! Originally I thought I was allergic :crybaby:to all silver but I wanted a Pandora soooo bad that I didn't care about my allergy. I figured, I owed it to myself to at least find out if I truly was allergic :confused1: and I bought my bracelet right after work at the end of August this year. I was going out of town the following day and within 30 minutes of leaving the store with my new empty bracelet, I decided that I needed a few charms while I experimented on my possible allergy. I went to a store closer to my home and bought 2 charms and 2 spacers. Went on my trip and during the trip I bought 1 charm to remind me of my vacation :yahoo:and while I was out of town I had ordered 2 more online to arrive in time for my arrival back home :p. So, I was definitely more than excited to realize that I wouldn't have to gift my Pandora to a friend since I wasn't allergic to sterling silver after all :wlae:which was awesome news!!! I would have been heartbroken if I couldn't have my Pandora. I've had my bracelet for about 3 months and I have some space left for my possible Pandora presents that I asked Santa for....nicely....with lots of hints....

Welcome to the addiction! I have no doubt in my mind that your bracelet will be treasured and filled with tons of goodies!! :woohoo:

Oh No!
Pandora is clearly going to be my next addiction:heart:
I have just spent ALOT of time reading through the postings and have some questions that I hope the experts can help me with.....

I have rather large wrists and wear an 8" John Hardy bracelet that is loose and comfortable for me.
What size Pandora would you recommend?
I would like to give DH a list instead of going into the store with him. Would the 8.3 work for me or if filled with charms would it be too tight?

I have read that the recommendation is to get the little handcuffs to insure the safety of your bracelet in case the clasp opens

Is it necessary to put spacers between every bead?

I am sure I will have a ton of other questions as I work through the websites -
TIA!!!:yahoo:

welcome lvchicago!

ive been told to get the correct measurement for your bracelet is to measure the size of your wrist with the measuring tape being placed over that small boney part of your wrist. make sure the tape sits lightly around your entire wrist.

with that wrist measurement add an extra 2cm or 3cm, that total should roughly be the size of the bracelet you need.

my wrist is 16.5cm my bracelet is 20cm. it is only this size because i like my bracelet to move around up and down my wrist. the pandora lady also said if i would like to put 4 or more murano glass beads on my bracelet its better to go the 20cm length.

i hope this helps. :D

Hey OZ girls;)
OMG, just checked the web with Retired Beads, in the little shop I'm buying Pendora I saw this ones
retiredpandora.com.au/images/pandora/79170-CZ.jpg and retiredpandora.com.au/images/pandora/79170-ACZ.jpg for $50 each:wtf: and now I just saw that they are retired and they cost $99 each They are old stock and my little shop doesnt know that they are retired and sell them on old price-they had at lease 4 of them I'm going today to buy them all and resell them on ebay maybe:graucho:.
Also they got retiredpandora.com.au/images/pandora/79245.jpg for $30 (now retierd $69)
And this retiredpandora.com.au/images/pandora/79246-PCZ.jpg now retired for $129 each but I cant remember thear price
ChocolateAlful let me know whitch animall you are after all thear animals are $30 each they may still have it.I will check for you...
I was shopping again on Sunday-bought Blue bracelet with 14 beads, need few more and I will check today may get lucky to finish my blue bracelet with few RETIRERD beads:wlae:

I have mixed feelings about that sight - making the price so much more than what they are going for???? I tried to get most of the Austrailan retired beads before they went out - at the RRP, they still had lots at the Pandora store!!

Also nova-inspire website has the discounted beads (some retired!!) so go here first before you fork out the increased price!! I really want the mouse bead and ram - so if anyone in Aus sees it along their travels please let me know ;)

mmkk! your collection must be AMAZING!!!

A good addiction to have!!

My wrists are 17 cm and both my braclets are 20cm, i like them to roll too, i have seen lots of ppl wear smaller sized bracelets and then they put the charms on it looks too tight on their wrist!

It is not necessary to put spacers between every bead - you dont even have to have them - its just a cute and inexpensive additon to your braclet!!

Hi there - My nana recently passed away and left me with a small bequest to be "spent on something pretty". After much window shopping I have decided that these bracelets are pretty indeed and plan on making her wish come true just after Christmas. Your comments and ideas on the design are appreciated.. as you can tell I'm a bit of a fan of two-tone jewellery!

Millymollymandy, welcome to the forum! I am sorry for your loss:crybaby:, I recently had an aunt pass away this year also and one of the things I did was put 2 charms on my bracelet that reminds me of her. I have an angel and the breast cancer awareness since she passed away due to breast cancer. It makes me smile whenever I look at my bracelet.:smile1: You may want to get a few charms that remind you of your nana to make your bracelet extra special....like a teddy bear charm from your childhood spending time with her and the likes. That's the beauty of Pandora you can make it be whatever you like!:okay:

Thank you for the welcome! Thank goodness you weren't allergic to the SS, otherwise you'd have been forced to go with the 14kt bracelet and charms:rolleyes:!
My new smaller bracelet came yesterday so I transferred my 2 charms onto it plus the new one I ordered (the little gift box charm, significance "gift to myself"). Gosh, 3 charms in less than a week-this is going to be an expensive little hobby (Years ago I went crazy over those link Italian charms and that was an expensive hobby)! I've decided that the theme of my first bracelet is going to be "ME, ME, ME, it's all about ME!":p
Hope Santa is generous with Pandoras this year Lucky!

hey there luckyeshe!

xmas is soo soon! i know that im guaranteed two charms for xmas :graucho:.

also on boxing day (the day after xmas here in aus) ill be going overseas to new zealand for 10 days with two of my girlfriends. were getting a little van and driving between two major towns in the south island of new zealand. ive been looking for a bead that will remind me of that trip. ive so far come up with this little one!

car.png

if only pandora had a little camper van!!! then that would be perfect.

Welcome New Pandora Addicts
I am going to New Zealand in March :yahoo:I was thinking of getting this for a reminder for my step daughter pandoracharmbracelets.com.au/images/pandora/79189.jpg as she wants to swim with the dolphins in the wild (we are going North Is) and for myself I'm not sure..... perhaps pandoracharmbracelets.com.au/images/pandora/79439.jpg as I will be on hols in a t shirt or pandoracharmbracelets.com.au/images/pandora/79441.jpg as we are going away for a wedding. I did want the little suit case until I saw it had Paris on it.... I have been but it wasn't so fantastic that I want the suit case to remind me (more the company I was with rather than the place!).

Don't know if we are going to get a camper or not but the little car is a great idea!!

I was thinking - would it be better to buy it there instead of Aus because of our dollar compared to theirs? Any one heard of Pandora duty free?

I'm sorry to hear about your Nana. What a lovely thought to rememember her by.

I am a two tone girl and I have some gold ones as well. You will have so much fun creating it. My braclet is not uniform in any way but I do love the ones I have seen with a pattern or theme.

i have the suitcase, i bought it after a holiday in fiji! (the little palm tree on the side) and the suitcase itself represents that it was my first overseas trip in 9 years!!!!

your ideas for your and your daughters charms are fantastic! swimming with the dolphins in the wild  wow.

i have just looked on the pandora-jewellery.com.NZ website, their price is $35 for standard SS charms. the little car is $72NZD which converts to $60.50AUSD. the car sells for $62 in aus shops. so i guess there is a little bit of saving!

Call me crazy but I want to collect a full set of retired beads. Just because I can. Can any of you American ladies help me find a list of the american retired beads. I thinks I have a list of the 2007 ones but not before that date. I have Australia's 2008 list. Now to start buying. This is the fun part.

Yey a saving! (even though little...)

I just did a google and found these. I know that they are not Pandora, but they have some nice ones for a trip to New Zealand.

Going into town tomorrow. Thinking I may try and get my gold strawberry of layby.

Not many sleeps now until the fat man comes visiting. Sounds like there will be a lot of beads recieved. :yahoo:I can't wait to see all the new additions.
