Hi,

Quick question about safety chains. do the ends of the chain stay in put like clips? or do they move around? I only have a few charms and I'm wondering if it's best to get the chain now or wait until the bracelet is fuller?

Thanks

the safety chain screws off and on like any normal charm. it will only stay in place when the bracelet is full, the filled charms hold the safety chain in place.

Thanks everyone for their kind words about my bracelets. On one level it is hard to part with them, on another level it's much harder having them just sit in the jewelry box unworn. I really need to have just a few (or... currently six) that I love to wear.

As I said, I'm now at six, well six and a half really. My black and pink is now black and blue. The bracelet that I call my "winter theme" is now just 5 beads in the center section of a bracelet waiting for winter to roll around, some of the other beads from it went on the aforementioned black and blue. Unless I give up my murano and enamel, which at this moment doesn't seem likely, I honestly can't see me going lower. That's okay. I'm okay with any number really as long as it feels good. If ten had honestly felt good, I would have kept ten. Right now, six and a half feels okay.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with the orange butterfly enamel bead I have? I have a great bracelet that is closed to finished that I don't want to add it on to (the bracelet is brown and blue). I am going to start a new one and I was thinking of doing silver and gold and somehow incorporating the orange, but since there are no other orange options really - I am at a loss!

maybe you could add the yellow enamel as well as some of the yellow and orange gems and make it a sunshine theme or autumn by adding some browns which both would look really good mixed with gold!

There are lots of other orange beads if you wanted to make an orange bracelet. There is the 4 petal orange enamel, the orange primrose path bead, the orange trinity spacer, the orange oval lights, and all the orange muranos.

And you could always mix the one orange bead with lots of different colors if you wanted a fun colorful bracelet. Just pick your favorites and put them together. Pretty much everything looks great together when you're talking about a Pandora bracelet.
