^ i only know 2 shops that does it. 1 in east perth (can't remember the name but it's on hay st) gives 10% for other pandora purchases after you become a "member" by buying $100 worth of pandora (which is easily done IMO!) and another shop in perth city (city gems) accumulates points (10% of each pandora or any other items in their store) and you can spend it on pandora.

these two are independant jewelers.. there might be some in sydney that does the same thing?

yeh thats the sort of thing i was thinking about...you are lucky! And yes $100 is easy to spend on pandora....so they do like a rewards system...great idea! i havent heard of anyone doing it here in sydney but i guess it would be hard to find that sort of thing out.

@Talkativeone77

From what I can gather talking to my local retailer and reading a few websites online (including CharmQueens) the new fall beads will be available online around October 1st.

I know its shameless self promotion but I was able to find a couple of pics of the new beads online (the person who gave them to me asked me not to name names in case Pandora don't like it). I think they are official promotional pics, though the quality isn't too great but I have posted them on my blog at Charm Campaign.

I did however ask my local jeweller when they are getting the new beads in and she said the beginning of October and let me preorder a bunch of them .. well OK 2 from her catalogue (got to love small towns).

I am officially in love with, well ALL of them *sighs* but there I have ordered a cute silver & red enamel with a touch of gold hanging charm and a matching silver and red enamel bead. And I have also ordered a pink "Cloisonné" (I've probably spelt that wrong) bead which is a sort of silver wire and enamel bead. . very pretty.

You can sort of see the beads in the pictures on my site, though the dangling bead doesn't look as nice in the picture.

I will be writing an entry about what I saw at the jewellery store, and what was said to me this evening. Remembering I am based in Australia so our delivery times might be a bit different to those in the USA.

P.S
I hope I've done the link right, if you have any troubles the URL is http://charmcampaign.typepad.com/ch...sneak-peak-at-pandoras-autumn-2008-beads.html

Thanks for the photos of the new beads.

I am a bit underwhelmed. I have all silver/gold mixed beads on my bracelet and these new ones do not go with anything I have at all. IMO, these look really juvenile compared to the last few releases.

Maybe I will feel differently when I see them IRL, but I think I can take a break from Pandora until the spring 2009 ones come out.

I can understand how they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. There was a page of new silver beads in the catalogue but as I have a lot of those I was looking for some colour so I tended to only look at the bright beads. So maybe among the silver, silver/gold ones you will find some that you will like.

My personal take on it is that Pandora is trying for the younger market, and trying to add some colour to the range to compete with the Thomas Sabo's etc out there that have bright charms.

Also you might like to check out Lovelinks new range, they have just released 600 new beads, or so they say, with LOTS of lovely new glass beads that fit on Pandora bracelets and some very cute silver beads, though they maybe a bit young looking for you too.

OMG! i'm more in love than ever! hehee.. lucky i invested in one of those pandora jewelry box!

thanks wwaxwork for showing the new fall beads! can't wait to get some more colourful muranos! and that cute clock bead and that ring thing.. you can interchange beads on them? i can't wait till it gets here!!!

you're right, it's going to be an expensive season!

I absolutley love the hanging bead with what looks to be a red heart with a gold crown. So cute!!!

I made a couple more purchases today... C bead and the swirl/heart bead...
My bracelet is almost finished!

I think that the reason they say its more important once it is full is because you have a whole bracelet full of beads worth a LOT of money and you wouldn't want to lose all that money. Personally, I decided to buy a safety chain after I had about three beads on there. I also like the added detail of the chain anyway.
True. I was thinking about it the other day, and it would be ~$300 down the drain if I lost it, and it's only 1/3 full

I don't like having stuff hanging off my bracelet, though. I have one dangly charm and I don't like the look of it. Plus, I'm worried I'll snag the chain on stuff. IDK.. I'm not sold on the chain yet. I still think I'd feel it if the bracelet fell off. It's so heavy!

I wear 2-3 bracelets, all with chains and have never had one get caught on anything yet - true you might feel it fall, depends on where you have to put your hand to retrieve it though.

Does anybody know if the new fall beads are available online yet???

hey there talkative one - in our area (well, in the burbs) I think two shops are having October bracelet giveaways - the thoughtfulness shop and g whiz (both have websites). i think you get a free lobster claw bracelet but can upgrade it to a silver bead for a small fee. Not sure if it's free w/purchase or just free if you register to attend their open house.

wish i could go but I'll be OOT that weekend - might be a blessing in disguise as I have spent plenty already! i love my bracelet, tho, and wear it every day. one of these days i'll post a pic.

my chain has never snag on anything too. i've worn knits, scarves, etc.. and it's ok. i'd say get a chain. it's not that expensive and it's sort of adds 2 beads to the bracelet too :smile1:

Eeew. I hadn't thought of that :hrmm:

I think I'm going to get a chain this weekend! :p
Do you guys have Pandora chains or Chamilia?

amen sister! pandora all the way! i know it's just a matter of taste - and style - but to me, the beads work better together when they have the same sort of look and proportion, which my bracelet does!

in fact, i might snag a bead buy on ebay tonight!
