^OMG I didn't know they stretched!!

So I don't know if it's just me or what, but I need to be careful playing with my hair when I'm wearing my bracelet! It always catches a hair or two and rips them out if I'm not careful.

Yes I wear mine to bed (my necklace included). Mine stretched more than 2 cm. I had mine shortened earlier this year. A friend of mine has also had hers stretch but she takes hers off to go to bed.

No I don't have an opener. I have tough nails.

About to go and check out all the new piccy posts - can't wait. :yahoo:

Sometimes, I wear mine to bed, but not always. They are quite heavy and I can feel them too much (does that make sense?). I also can't use the tools to open the clasp, I have to use my thumb nail... gadgets are too difficult for me LOL!

I take all my jewellery off when going to bed, plus I seem to have developed an easy knack of opening the clasp without any tools either. :p

I have heard the bracelet can stretch and I also read somewhere on our local 'trademe' (which is a little like ebay) where a girl was selling an oxidized bracelet that had lost ALL its oxidization ?? and was now almost like a silver bracelet. I'm not sure if that was true though....

DD got more pandora pressies today from the family getogether - the original handbag with pink stone, silver leaf spacer and birth stone  You should have seen all us ladies standing around, comparing our pandoras. The men were just sighing :thinkin:hmmm but they know it makes us happy!!!

I've only ever worn mine to bed once when I went camping and didn't want to risk taking it off- it was in January so only 2 weeks after I got it- so it wasn't full then.

I haven't cleaned my bracelets properly with warm water, washing up liquid and a tooth brush in a few months. Last night I decided to give them a clean and boy do they look sparkling NEW today. I used to do it once a week but that was before I got my 2nd. Now it takes ages to clean.

How often do u clean yours and how do u clean them????

Well i have the oxidised one and when i went to a jewellers once they said after time it would lose all of the oxidation and eventually just be silver. I had no idea before!

I was just using a jewelers cloth to wipe my down. Never really cleaned them any other way. But, I did clean mine for the first time the other day with dishwashing liquid, warm water and a tooth brush. Not only were mine all sparkling and new but the water was FILTHY. That was an eye opening experience. I guess I never realized how dirty they were actually getting.

After this I think I'll be cleaning the ones I wear the most every week or so, and all of them every other month or so. It's amazing how wonderful they look after they get cleaned like that. Made me fall in love all over again!

I clean mine about every week or two with baby shampoo, warm water and a toothbrush (I love when they look sparkly). A new jeweler I went to just recently gave me a cleaning cloth which I used after I cleaned them and I still got a bit more black stuff off the charms! I will probably use the cloth every now and then, but it's a little tedious -- the other way is quicker with a good result. Oh, and I also wear the bracelets in the shower which I think helps keep them shiny, too.

How often do u clean yours and how do u clean them???? from Pandoraholic

I clean mine every couple of weeks with pandora polishing cloth and have a couple of times used dishwashing liquid/warm water but just wondered if the muranos and charms with stones are okay to wash like this ? I suppose they must be if some of you wear them in the shower.
