I got an e-mail from Paypal awhile back on behalf of jewels-2005 giving me a full refund. However, the credit hasn't shown up on my MasterCard statement yet. I checked the Paypal website and it said that it could take up to 30 days for it to show up on the credit card statement, but if I don't see it soon, I'll contact them again.
So this is the email message I just got from PayPal!!!:hysteric:

"As you know, we're investigating a problem that you had with a recent transaction. It's taking a little longer than we expected to reach a decision. We're actively working on your case and will notify you on the next steps as soon as possible." :pout: :censor:

Insane. Paypal is very shady.. and it is becoming more and more apparent. I just hope Jewels gets shut down one and for all once we are done with them

I hope you've scoped out the Pandora shops in the area while you're visiting the US. Since I've been collecting, that's what I do. Talk about obsession.

LOL- your not alone. I've typed up a list of ALL the Pandora Stockist around Anaheim, Hollywood and Vegas. It's been saved into my hotmail account- i should print out a copy 2 take- but at least if I forget- I can hop on the laptop and have a look.

Huh- maybe i'll need to take a day trip to Leeds to see my cousins that live there. I'm visiting England next year with my family and have ALL my extended family living in Scarborough- where I was born, moved to Dorset when i was 11, then OZ when i was 23, been here 7 years now.

Must get a Pandora charm as a souvineer of my uk trip- but I have a feeling I may not like paying your high prices. I asked my sister (lives in dorset) to check out Pandora if she likes it, it will be a fantastic pressie for her- sooooo much cheaper here- though still a VERY expensive hobby. LOL

How great would that be - a charm from your native county! But be prepared to save up first - our Pandora prices are mad - and the Concept store (and many of the others for that matter) never run the promotions that you lucky ladies talk about.
I'm sure all the UK Pandora-ites would agree that we'd love a free jewellery case or a buy 5 get one free offer! If any one from Pandora reads this forum then please can we have some of these same offers?

I've had one FREE jewelry box because I asked cause I was spending alot in one transaction- so try asking i was VERY suprised when she gave me one.

I got 10% off when I got my Gold flower on Thursday, usually $456 but I paid $410.

I've also had 11% off once before (again I asked) and one free bead from Gillettes when I ordered at christmas online- they offer this all the time if you spend $100au. Apart from that I've always bought in the Jewellers and NOT got anything else but the beads I paid for.

Jewels 2005 was my 1st ebay experience which wasn't great, so i've only risked one spacer on ebay since.

Would LOVE to get the sort of offers you can get in the states. Anyway those few things I have had in the past have been due to spending a large amount in one transaction- as i said I ASKED them- Pandora don't allow them to advertise discounts etc.

Good Luck asking- what's the worse they can say? NO.:graucho:

Good advise Pandoraholic - I'll try it when I next make a significant purchase and I'll let you know. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Q's... Do you wear your bracelet to bed?

Do you have a Pandora Clasp Opener?

So far I only have the bracelet but that is all going to change next weekend when I get my beads. I sleep with mine on now but when I have a few beads on I'll probably take it off at night. Is the clasp opener a necessity?

Thanks

I wear mine to bed. I don't think you need to spend the money on the clasp opener -- a guitar pick works perfectly and it's much cheaper.

I got the clasp opener before I heard about the guitar pick option. IMHO it is a necessity if you want to keep your fingernails intact!

Only occasionally do I wear the bracelets to bed because they are so heavy.

Nope, I take off all of my jewelry at night.

No clasp opener- I use a credit card and it works great!

So I need some ideas for a necklace to match my bracelet! I want pink muranos on it, but what else?

I've been playing with the bracelet builders online to come up with something but it's not really helping! I hate how those dont really reflect the sizes of the beads, it makes them all look the same size!

Evidently the sterling bracelet can stretch a bit, probably due to the design and the weight of all the beads. One of the ladies on here, who sells Pandora, posted that wearing your bracelet to bed would probably make it stretch faster.

^OMG I didn't know they stretched!!

So I don't know if it's just me or what, but I need to be careful playing with my hair when I'm wearing my bracelet! It always catches a hair or two and rips them out if I'm not careful.
