I don't think your be single minded. I did see a brand at my local mall but not the ones you listed . The woman at the counter said they would fit my bracelet, but they did not look well made. Unfortunately I pay retail for my beads so they are bought very slowly as my budget allows.

Apparently, Troll beads and Chamillia fit Pandora Bracelet- I know the Lovelinks ones also fit onto Pandora. I've decided just to stick with PANDORA am I being too single minded????

Actually, Trollbeads won't fit on Pandora, however, Pandora will fit on Troll. Chamilia will fit Pandora though. I think Chamilia has some fabulous beads and such a large glass bead selection.

Hi,

I'm a self proclaimed "bead brand name" mixer  If you think you'll ever purchase Troll beads, then the best base bracelet to buy is from Troll. Everything will fit on a Troll bracelet. BTW, another cool thing about a Troll base bracelet is that you can find some "large hole beads" at jewelry supply stores that will fit. I've been able to purchase some 10kt gold, round seemless beads not intended for European bead bracelets and use them as spacers. Otherwise, I believe minus the troll beads, the other brand names are interchangable.

I agree with Purse-oh and happen to really like Chamillia. In fact, there was a Chamillia trunk show at a local store here and I snapped up these two beads:

I've shared this site before. Silvershake.com has a brand name called Nagara. They have a nice selection at:

I have these two beads from there and love them:

I also get the folks who like staying with one brand name. There is a uniformity/similairity within one company and that can lend itself nicely to consitency. I've also had fun mixing and matching and have found that I can get a pretty cute bracelet that way as well. Have fun!!!

i personally like pandora only. i havent found any charms yet that i absolutley must have on my bracelet. pandoras range seem to satisfy all my needs/wants! other brands do have some very pretty beads though.

i am now 1 bead away from finishing my bracelet!!! :yahoo:

Until yesterday I have only Pandora charms. I got the Chamilia elephant from an online site. Pandora's elephant is retired and I don't like it because I prefer the elephant's trunk to be raised. Has anyone heard that a new Pandora elephant is going to be in the new spring collection? I heard that somewhere but don't know how true it is.

Me too - well, actually 1 bead away from finishing 1 bracelet and then there are 2 others I am working on and I think I am getting ideas about starting a necklace

I am SICK SICK SICK

Thats certainly a very pretty bracelet MissyMomToTwo...and I know there are some outstanding glass beads out there, but I'm a bit like Pandoraholic and my_delirium with keeping to Pandora charms. I may just sway if I could get a solid sterling silver 'motorbike' charm or something similar to celebrate the wonderful trips we've had on our bike.

I could be mistaken, but I THINK that Chamilia has a charm like that. It's pretty cute if I remember correctly. Maybe someone else can chime in with advice, but try looking on the Chamilia website, they fit on the Pandora bracelet and are very comparable in quality, IMO.

Thanks ladies, checked out those sites - there seems to be two solid sterling silver motorbikes (that are not just plated) out there to choose from ...I know one shop that sells Chamilia in a nearby mall so might have to go browsing...

What's the shops name- is it an actual Pandora shop??? Though there is a concept shop in Melbourne GPO. Do they need another soooo close by???? Silly question!
Pandoraholic I just looked it up an Melbourne city has 1 full Pandora flagship shop (GPO) and 5 more inside jewellery shops.

Am I dumb or what. Just playing with my bracelet setting it up again for the weekend & as usual cannot make my mind up what beads I want. (Must count them one day) Anyway hubby looked at me threading again and laughing when I got it unbalanced and had to unthread. He said I run the risk of twisting the chain (as if I didn't know that) so why did I not set it up on a long knitting needle. Yes he was right a 9 or 3.75 needle works perfectly and the beads and chain will not damage. Why did I not think of that one. Now I will never live it down.
