Finally I have the retired Australian charms done. :woohoo:
I have taken a photo and deceided I shall have to rearrange them again.
I will now find time to play with me other bracelet

After seeing your bracelet with the retired crater bead - I now know I must add that to my bracelet.
I am three beads away from finishing and they are on the way from that "auction" site. Now it is a done deal that the one bead I was not sure of is going "on-the-block" !!

wow, how all the charms have evolved! i can really see a difference in the change of pandoras design/style. those retired beads compared to ones on the market now.

pandoras current charms have a less "novelty" look. a bit more classic and simple? does anyone else think so?

great bracelet chocolateful! not long til we find out the 2009 retired beads!

I know exactly what you mean Millymollymandy! Mine was brought to be added to as my children grow up but I can't wait that long!! I think I may end up with more than one! I am so envious of all of you that live close to stores. In the UK its hard to find shops that do them and although there is internet shopping I like the thought of being able to see the beads IRL! THIS IS A SICKNESS!!!!! lol.

When you go into the store, they are all set out so pretty...each bead individually set in their own little box...like sweets in a candy store, how can any of us resist...

Hey millymollymandy another beautful hot day here but this time spent it out on a boat. Think a lot of the good weather is coming from Aussie, honestly this would be one of the best summers in a long while!

Don't worry Purse...it also often rains here, now what bead would signify that?

Hmmm - The first one that comes to mind is the One World health charm. It has a teardrop (rain drop) cz dangle!! :graucho:

So true Glamour Mum those little beads are hard to resist! All of my friends are addicted to Pandora and having a great time designing their bracelets. There is nothing wrong with that. Here's are some new pixs of my bracelet and the new one that is in progress. ;) This is just too much fun!

Thanks Purse, I'm going to have to check that charm out...

Kandi - Stunning images of your bracelets, I just keep getting stuck as to which way to go with colour. I fancy having 2 bracelets, one lighter/shiny then one in darker/richer colours worn together...hmm this could take a while looking at my bank balance.

Lorn278 - Only trouble when you go into a store, you seriously could spend hours there, my DH just likes to go in with the bead in mind that you want, buy it then leave. Apparently one of the shop assistants said she had someone in who spent
2 1/2 hours there to choose one bead...OMG!

Kandi - Gorgeous bracelets. I love the mix of silver and gold on the finished one. It makes me want to start another of my own.

GlamourMum - I think 2 1/2 hours in a store is probably better then the hours and hours I can spend pouring over auctions and other sites on the internet. I need to find a hobby to get me away from the computer. Or maybe I should just go clean my house...

Thanks Ponygirl.me and Glamourmum for the nice comments. I am the absolute some about what color to use that's the second set of Murano beads on that bracelet. I've decide that the only thing to do is to start another and another bracelet because there are too many pretty beads to stick with one color.

I can well imagine getting lost for 2 and a half hours in a store should I find one and Glamour Mum my dh would be exactly the same.

To the Ozzie girls, in the UK there are loads of stories on the news about the terrible fires in Melbourne. Hope u and yours are all ok. Thinking of you all.

I agree, my heart really goes out to any of you caught up in those horrendous fires...honestly here I am saying how wonderful our weather has been...when you guys are suffering. Wishing 'WATER' your way....

Hi to ALL u Pandora Holics (hence my new name)

I came across this forum while looking for a photo of a retired Pandora bead earlier on today. I was sooooo VERY pleased and suprised to see that it appears like I am NOT the only person who spends soo much time researching PANDORA on the net, staring at and playing with her own bracelet- I LOVE IT!!!

I picked up my Gold Heart fixed bead yesterday- VERY excited and soooo pleased to finally have both fixed beads in place (despite my bracelet being 3/4 full)

I've been sort of banned from getting any more beads before May:crybaby:- It's my 30th and hubbys laybyed me some gold beads- he doesn't want to risk me getting the same- how sweet!!!! I'm not sure I can go that long without buying one- I discovered Pandora in Dec- never heard of it before then- where had I been??? Anyway I only got mine for Xmas and have bought a few each week since. I am shocking, shocking, shocking.

Anyway I hope that you are happy to welcome me with open arms- I'm VERY keen to share my habit with someone- ANYONE!!! Think hubby thinks i've lost the plot a little especially when I get so excited when I find somewhere new that sells Pandora.

In January I found a lovely little shop in Williamstown (VICTORIA, Australia) called Browz which isn't even a jewellers but has a BIG display of PANDORA and a VERY helpful owner. Worth a day trip to the lovely little town overlooking Melbourne city skyline across the port.

Pandora has taken a bit of a back burner in my thoughts the last few days since this weekend. Having instead so many distubing visions on TV of close by towns being hit by the awful FIRES here in Victoria. Thankfully we don't have any Fires too close to us. (about 45 mins an hour drive away) But my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved and hurt by the blazes.

OMG I've written an Essay- Nice to think more pleasent thoughts again.

Thanks for listening.

I also have a 4 year old daughter I wanted to start a bracelet for but wasn't sure if I should get the 16cm one- which would still be a little big for her now.

Option 2 was to go average size 19cm and add one special charm each year to represent something special from the year and give her it for her 16th or 18th birthday.
Does this sound Stupid???? Has anyone else started one for a younger child??

Lorna278 what did you end up deciding???

Anyone have one of these, and do you love them as much as I do?

They are so much fun! I bought my first a couple of years ago. I had never heard of them, then saw someone mention them on the QVC forums and wondered what they were. I was sold as soon as I saw them. I used to get most of my beads on eBay, but these days, I buy more on etsy. I also got a fabulous box there made from a cigar box to store my beads in.
