I start with Kjaer Weis Beautiful Oil followed by Murad sunscreen/moisturizer for daytime. I have very dry skin and the Beautiful oil makes a huge difference for me.
At night I use strivectin cream and their advanced retinol star light night serum.
I regularly get mistaken for someone who looks 20 years younger which always surprises me! I won’t be switching products anytime soon 🙂

I’ve tried Sunday Riley but can’t stand the smell😩

I'm with you there. I thought I was the only one. I gave nearly a full bottle of theirs to my mother due to the smell and she thought it was absolutely fantastic! I found an 'earthiness' there that I just couldn't handle.

Mine would probably be Tretinoin cream. I’m 43 and have used it since I was 16. I don’t have any wrinkles. But then again, my mom is 68 and doesn’t really have any wrinkles either; so it may just be genetic.

Yes...one if the "blessed" side effects of my never-ending battle against acne is that I've been on Retin-A since I was 18. This has been amazing for skin rejuvenation!

After much due diligence on this subject, started with Calecim Professional facial serum once a day after 2-3 minutes of using GloPRO microneedling device on my face and neck

Calecim Professional had the highest ratings for the correct listing of ingredients, etc and feedback has been incredibly positive

Will start the Calecim firming cream to use post serum this month too - they have a great replenish program depending on how much product is required

Also, am not affiliated with the company in any way, and skin reacts differently to various products - am simply passing on feedback
I'm not 40 yet, not sure if I'm allowed to post, but I'm the official skincare purchaser for my older female relatives lol.

Second calecim, it's the best. I can't use the firming cream w/o getting clogged but I use the recovery gel and the serum and they are the bomb.

Pretty much the only thing that I think is close to Biologique Recherche's old placenta & splenodermine lines. Those wiped 5 to 10 years off the face for my then late 50s mom & aunt.

TNS, Neogenesis are also not bad, but Calecim is still my favourite.

Love this thread - it's so helpful to hear from real experiences beyond marketing speak. I have a shopping list of things to try!

My current regimen, for dehydrated, blotchy, tired skin is below. My focus is on minimal products to avoid sensitivities.

Cleanser - iSClinical Cleansing Complex
Moisturiser - dermatologist recommended basic brand (La Roche Posay/Aveeno/Diprobase)
Morning extras - SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic or SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier or Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream
Evening extras - prescription tretinoin
Eye cream - yet to find a good one, I'm currently using Niod Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate

I'm trying to wean of AB The Rich Cream as I've heard certain healing factors from other similar products *could* promote the growth of cancer cells. I have no clue if the same mechanics would apply to AB but I'm proceeding with caution.

I will admit that I believe there's only so much we can get from surface products so I now supplement with low-level injectables - Botox and Profhilo/Ameela. I've recently tried microneedling although I'm on the fence as to its benefits vs injectable skinboosters (for me, certainly the pain and downtime with microneedling is longer).
