I'm not 40 yet, not sure if I'm allowed to post, but I'm the official skincare purchaser for my older female relatives lol.

Second calecim, it's the best. I can't use the firming cream w/o getting clogged but I use the recovery gel and the serum and they are the bomb.

Pretty much the only thing that I think is close to Biologique Recherche's old placenta & splenodermine lines. Those wiped 5 to 10 years off the face for my then late 50s mom & aunt.

TNS, Neogenesis are also not bad, but Calecim is still my favourite.
I am also using Calecim with positive results as well as Regelica serum & anti aging cream
My friend refers to Calecim as her pink love potion..LOL

I want to try an under eye cream, and so glad to find this thread. I dont have major needs, but I have dry, sensitive skin that get creapy/dry under my eyes in cold weather. I typically just use lotion, but maybe now is the time to try something meant for under eye.

I want something I can wear during the day, without makeup (so not too heavy or greasy), does not need to provide coverage, just hydration and a little gentle preventative *something* would be great, but not a mask or anything.

I don’t know anything about skincare and want something easy. Medium-effective is ok for the trade-off of simple and ideally if I can buy on Amazon.com or a similar site where online checkout is simple. Sephora is really overwhelming for me, but it’s fine if I have just one specific item to look for.

This will be something I put on after a shower at night and after washing my face in the morning. I do not wear makeup other than eyeliner and Eborian BB cream as a spot corrector if needed (thanks for the recs in this forum for that one!).

I tried La Mer already, as the most-known brand, but I have sensitive skin and La Mer made my skin swell up and get red welts. I am usually fine with drugstore brands (Neutrogena etc) and cosmetic counter brands (eg Lancome, Clinique, Shiseido). Eborian seems to agree with my skin as well. I am open to any brands as long as they are easy and under ~$100 for the eye cream.

I also don’t really need SFP because the sun never comes out here. It’s a benefit if the product has a little SPF, but low-SPF is fine, ~15.

Thank you!

Hi @nicole0612, I also have sensitive, dry skin. And, I also don't wear make-up (foundation). I love a brand called Mad Hippie, I use many of their skincare products. It's a very nice, clean brand, and I think effective. I recently started using their eye cream and like it. I also use their Vit C cream everyday, and that would also be an under eye option for you.

Thank you both very much, I think I will find my answer in one of these products! I appreciate you taking the time to give me recommendations :)

Recently discovered Bioeffect’s EGF serum. It’s quite expensive but a little bottle goes a long way and it’s sometimes discounted. It really made a big difference in my undereyes area and nasolabial folds… Also tried a less expensive EGF formula (European brand called Garancia) but it was heavily perfumed a little bit less efficient. They (Bioeffect) also have a special eye cream but I think the regular serum is ok for this zone.
I’d love to know if someone tried the Power serum. As it is (even!) much more expensive than the regular one, does it worth the price difference?

I start with Kjaer Weis Beautiful Oil followed by Murad sunscreen/moisturizer for daytime. I have very dry skin and the Beautiful oil makes a huge difference for me.
At night I use strivectin cream and their advanced retinol star light night serum.
I regularly get mistaken for someone who looks 20 years younger which always surprises me! I won’t be switching products anytime soon 🙂

I’ve tried Sunday Riley but can’t stand the smell😩
Is the oil safe for sensitive skin?

At the moment, this is my HG skincare routine for my dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin:

- SVR Sensifine Cleansing Balm
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
- Mixsoon Bifida Toner
- Round Lab Soybean Nourishing Serum
- Mecca Max Chill Out Brightening Eye Cream
- Etude House Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion
- La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Creme
- Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturising Sunscreen SPF50+
- Soap & Glory "Scrub in the Fast Lane" 2 Minute Facial Peel & Polish (used bi-weekly)

Still struggling to find my HG sheet mask to use weekly, but recently purchased a few Korean ones to try out over the next few weeks. Will report back if any are HG worthy.

I love the Biodance collagen sheet mask. It is VERY hydrating! It is the kind that becomes transparent when you keep it on your face. I have slept overnight with it and woken up the next day with glassy plump skin!
