I have finished my Tatcha & today tried SANSIM (Soon Baek Sun cream with an SPF 50)
This is not tinted in the way Tatcha is but also goes on the skin beautifully with no white cast
Will try the Beauty of Joseon & will have 3 sunscreens to compare which I really like ( La Roche
Posay has been a staple for many years but just wanted to try something new)
I have tried BR over the years & have found not such a big difference in my skin.
I am still liking 111 Skin as well as Irene Forte with Shiseido Eudermine & trying another
Japanese hyaluronic acid lotion in my routine.
Do facials, no peels, exfoliate as needed & also loving using facial masks 111 Skin in particular
No retinol & a big fan of Sunday Riley Good Genes ( do see a visible difference) as well
as Retrouve oil cleanser & Sisley Lysait & trying Dior L'or de Vie eye cream
I wear no foundation but liking Dior Capture Dreamskin primer & have an affinity for
lip tints & lip products in general. Always on the hunt in a manner of speaking, LOL
I am fairly attentive to taking care of my skin & consistency does make a difference, IMO

Valmont -eye cream, neck cream, and facials and bioligique Rechereche (lotion 50/p400 cream favorites) for everything else.

Great products. Much better for my skin than high end luxury products from Saks/Neiman.

Hi,

A follow up on the Tatcha Silk Sunscreen.. I like it very much with the exception that the
neck of the bottle peels away. I did contact Tatcha & commented. They were aware of the
issue & their production team is on it. They did replace the product for me.
The color was perfect for my skin tone ( I am very fair) it does have an SPF of 50 which I
also like & it gives the skin a nice healthy glow & a nice feeling of hydration as I am on the
dry side. It is expensive but at the end of the day we all have to make ourselves feel good
& beauty has no price, so the saying goes.. LOL
I am also going to try Beauty of Joseon sunscreen when I am finished with the Tatcha
so I will have a nice comparison of La Roche Posay, Tatcha & Beauty of Joseon
La Roche Posay still continues to be my go to sunscreen but I wanted to trying something new
& the reviews were positive on both these sun products
Bougth the Beauty of Joseon rice sunscreen a week ago and I love it so far. Excellent make up base, SPF 50, non sticky and perfectly invisible. I highly recommend it!

I use La Mer, Cle de Peau, Tatcha, Dr. Hauschka, Revision, Sunday Riley, and Glossier among others. To me the most important things are a gentle exfoliant, an antioxidant like Vitamin C, a daily moisturizer, I obviously mix it up (I believe in the un-scientific idea that changing regimes occasionally is good :)) but my favorite products are

La Mer Cream (the OG, I've used this my whole life)
La Mer Neck/Decollete Cream
La Mer Concentrate
Glossier Super Bounce (hyaluronic acid) and Super Glow (Vitamin C)
Revision Vitamin C 30% Correcting Cream
Tatcha Silk Peony Eye Creme
Sunday Riley Good Genes Cream

I'm also a fan of Sunday Riley Good Genes. Results are visible in 10 + days (if not sooner)
& also mix it all up with the change of seasons

I rotate these:
PM: Chantecaille retinol intense, 111skin nocturnal eclipse recovery cream, Oskia rest day comfort cream
Am: Kate Somerville exfolikate glow moisturizer, Bobbi brown hydrating face cream, Sunday Riley ceo afterglow
SPF: Chantecaille ultra sun protection sunscreen, Dermalogica skinperfect primer
Sunday Riley good genes is great too. Skinceuticals C e ferulic was effective but I really disliked the smell and the color.

I purchased the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen based on recs here in tPF, and between that and a S. African one those have been in steady rotation and have worked beautifully.

As someone who suffered horribly from Acne since I was a teen right into my 40s, I have been on Retin A prescription from my derm since I was 18. Between that and Microneedling (either PRP where they use your own plasma, or RadioFrequency), also SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic in the AM, my skin is now nearly poreless. I absolutely swear by this 4-some (Microneedling, VitC, Retin A, Sunscreen).

Hi, thanks so much for this follow up! I agree, these little indulgences are 100% worth it - taking care of our largest organ should always be a priority! I haven't heard of Beauty of Joseon, will go do some research.

I have two full size bottles of the Barbara Sturm sun drops I received as a promo, so I will use those before investing in new.

If you don't mind letting me know what you think of the Dr. Sturm sun drops, read about Odacite
but comments were there was "pilling" so I'd be curious as to what your experience is. Thanks
I did not get pilling with Tatcha, Beauty of Joseon or Anthelios.
I am going to try tomorrow the Dr. Loretta as I just received mine today
I think that the Japanese/Korean sunscreens are standouts, JMO

Yes, absolutely I will. Would you believe we've had so much rain in CO I haven't even used sunscreen yet this year - admittedly I am not the best with it....

I will let you know I have one of the bottles on my bathroom counter for tomorrow!

Sharing my thoughts on the Dr Loretta Urban Antioxidant Sunscreen.
I used it this morning. Very light in coverage, a soft pink tint to it. On hot
humid summer days this will work for me. I prefer a sun product with a little
bit more depth in consistency. I do prefer the Tatcha for that reason only.
No pilling, no stinging either but this will not cover any blemish or redness on the skin, JMO

To continue the sunscreen dilemma, when I used Dr. Loretta my skin was stinging & I could
not figure out why & I have had that sensitivity before.
So for the past few days I have only been using Hadalabo Gokujun hyaluronic solution & my
moisturizer with no serum & just Dr. Loretta. Wow, what a difference.
So if any of you are experience stinging, try eliminating your serum & give you sun product another
chance, just my experience

My morning face routine contains a new serum. I rinse my face with cold water, dry it off, then do CeraVe eye cream and a Huxley serum. It keeps my skin plump and moisturized all day. Costs around 40 euros and I've calculated the bottle will last me around half a year.
