My first LV shawl. Love the colors. Any advice on how to keep it snag free?
The only way to keep it snag free is to not use it  But in all seriousness I don’t think you can keep it snag free, they will happen no matter what. Not wearing jewelry would increase the chances of not snagging the scarf but that would be about all I can think of.

Gorgeous! I have found snags happen, usually not many but the #1 culprit for me is if a fingernails has the tiniest rough spot, inevitably that is what snags my silks! I’ve leaned to live with them and even like it a bit, it means my scarves are well loved and part of my daily life. But that first snag was a doozy!

The first snag I got on my shawl was a bad one - I brought it to my dry cleaner to sew so it didn't get worse. I was DEVASTATED but since then I've been a lot more relaxed while wearing it and less concerned about every little thing.

Here’s the new Alma empreinte pm ...

I keep saying I’m not the biggest fan of Speedys yet I have two (25 in Azur and 30 in Mini Lin Ebene) and found myself wanting the 25 in Monogram recently. I thought about getting the Bandouliere version but I prefer the cleaner look of the regular version!

I actually prefer preloved to brand new because I can focus more on enjoying the bag. So I got this from a consignment store for pretty close to the original retail in 2009, which is when it was made. :)
The handles are a bit dark so I cleaned it up but not really sure if it’ll help. Either way I’m looking forward to enjoying this bag and replacing the vachetta if necessary in the future.

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind.

First, it looked weird. Then I saw that they abandoned the classic base and swapped it with this new design with folded corners... I don't know... :S
Yeah I am not sure about it at all. I love the alma from my previous collecting days & thought this might be nostalgic. I will say the folded corners don't bother me at all, the critique I have is that the leather is so nice that it's less structured than what I am used to for an alma. I gotta think about it...

Is it heavy? Also It looks like the leather is so soft, it collapsed a little? Will it hold its shape well, you think?

I love the new Neo Alma! Here's mine!

A couple of comments:

It's not heavy at all IMO

The leather is very pliable but there's enough structure between the zipper and the design to keep it from collapsing into itself. The bottom is soft--it's not reinforced to maintain a flat bottom (if that makes sense!).

The bottom corners don't seem to flare as much as they appear in photos--maybe it's an optical illusion since there's a bit of roundness to the base. The folded corners don't bother me at all.

The shoulder strap is more useful than I expected.

I have 2 Almas (1 mono and 1 Vernis) and they are both definitely stiffer than this one but overall the size and shape is very similar.
