I actually got this about a week ago. I have been wanting this bag for months now but I don’t live close to LV store and wanted to try it on before buying. Finally made the drive out to the store. Honestly, I’m not sure what to think about the Speedy. Something is bothering me about it but I can’t put my finger on it. I went ahead with the purchase so I could try it on at home. I’ve pulled it out of the box several times but I’m still unsure! Would love any feedback. Would you keep or return?

Are you intimidated by the vachetta? A lot of people are scared to carry bags with a lot of vachetta. Are you afraid of getting it dirty? What is bothering you about it? Personally, I like it but I didn’t buy it and I don’t have to wear it. I own several Speedy’s and never had the apprehension you’re experiencing. If you don’t love it, return it. The Speedy is not going to be discontinued so get something that makes you smile and your heart sing.

The vachetta concerns me a little but I think it’s just the overall feeling I have about the bag. I spent so long looking at pictures of it, reading all about it, I thought for sure this would be my perfect crossbody bag! I guess I’m just feeling a little disappointed that I don’t love it like I thought I would. I was hoping that once I brought it home the love would grow but it isn’t. Feels silly that I’m trying to force myself to love a bag just because I thought it was “the one”. I have a few other LVs (neverfull, iena, favorite and a handful of slgs) and they all make my heart sing. I love wearing each one and just catching a glimpse of them in my closet makes me smile. Thanks for the advice, sometimes after writing things out, the answer is pretty clear.
Picked up a monogram shawl and a jungle double zip pouch. It’s amazing when collections are supposedly sold out, you eventually will find someone to get you an item. Been consistently told the jungle pouch was sold out but I didn’t give up!!
