I get all of what you are saying. My main point was just that not as many items have been going as deletes to the outlets in the last couple of years or so, and the same thing has happened online for coach outlet. I realize you have been able to score some great bargains, and I am happy for you, that is great. They just haven't been as accessible or easy to find as they were a few years ago (for the general population). I am not arguing it can't be done when someone has access to a good outlet, and someone willing to help them. And that is the key--it isn't something that can be done by everyone because many outlets do not get great bags, or they might not have a SA that is helpful in doing the sales the other ways-- a lot of barriers. But I guess at least some people are getting deals, and that is great for them...

If anyone has an outlet near or far it is up the in individual to do the work IF they want it. I don't mind driving to get them. Also. Not all outlets get good deletes. The two stores I went too did not have I wanted so I had my list ready and did found orders. It is easy and quick. I had already done my homework by calling the store the night before to see if what I wanted could be ordered and to get these at 60 off it takes work that some dont want to do. I don't mind the wait or doing the work. It comes down to each their own.
Agreed. My outlet doesn't get good deletes and I had talked to many SAs there. It's only recently a new hire that really shows interest in making her customers happy and she's super nice. Other ones have been helpful in looking items up and if the quantity is 5, they won't even bother trying to place the order. Not sure if that's the case at every store. Also if my outlet doesn't have the a collection, they don't know if they can do the same discount and they wouldn't try it. The SAs at my outlets told me all Disney items were 50 off only.

When I found the coach forum on tpf 5 years ago I remember reading that eventually everything ends up at the outlet. Still holds true today.
My outlet gets few deletes & shows no interest in helping me with anything beyond what's in store.
At another outlet I frequent, I actually heard the manager say "don't bother with her, she only wants retail bags, which we don't have"...

Eek! Sounds like the attitude of the manager at my FP store. She is rude, and doesn't encourage a sale at all.
I think everyone wants to get the best discount they can, it's just a matter of how much work they want to do, how long they want to wait, and how helpful (and knowledgeable) the SA's are. Plus if you have to drive 3 hours to an outlet you have to factor gas/time into the savings to see if it’s worth it.
I personally was happy (and went waaayyy overboard) during the last SAS with F&F. That was 50/20 vs. the current 60/25 the outlets were doing. I ordered what wasn't online through my SA and everything came in gift boxes with free shipping and free returns. For the items that were online, I combined with e-bates 12% cash back (50/20/12), and again got everything gift boxed with free returns and didn’t have to leave the house.
My outlet (2-hr round trip drive) wasn't participating in the extra 25% off purchases and my outlet SA's (except 1) aren't in the least helpful so had I waited there would be no guarantees of getting anything except what was on the shelves at 50-60% off. I’ll take gift boxed fresh from JAX for 50/20/12 over “beat up and off the shelf” – that’s specific to my outlet where they abuse their bags and expect you to buy something just because it’s a delete - for 50-60 any day.
If my outlet was doing the 60/25 I would have gladly put in the work if there was something I wanted (Luckily there’s nothing on my wishlist now that is a delete (thanks to SAS 50/20/12, Dillards 65/40 and July’s outlet promo 60/10/20). The closest outlet to me that was doing the promo was a 3-hour drive each way, which would have completely negated the savings. but I’m glad people are able to get these deals and enjoy these bags.

I just called Jax to check stock on the Prussian blue and she said there's over 50 of them in the warehouse. I'm going to make a run to my outlet at lunch and see if they'll help me order it. So far, they've been less than helpful, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
I've always wanted this bag, tried ordering during SAS twice and both were canceled due to being out of stock. Makes me sad there are over 50 in the warehouse!
Its near impossible for me to get to my outlet. It's over an hour away and I homeschool my oldest 2. No realistic way to drag them plus my 1 year old to the outlet to do found orders. If I can ever get a few hours break to myself I would rather do something more enjoyable like a nice lunch or movie.
Pretty much all the SAs there have zero interest in finding anything for me too. They will lie and say they don't have deletes in the back (usually by the 3rd or 4th person I ask they magically appear). They also wont look up potential stock to order, they just tell me to call the CS #.
I know I will never be an outlet hunter, but I do wish that they would put some stuff on the outlet website. I'm more than happy though with SAS and even PCE when its something I just can't wait for, plus 10-15% e*bates, and free shipping/returns makes it even better. I am still a bit sour with the dark fairytale though, my local manager swore up and down it was extremely limited like that first Minnie Mouse run than vanished pretty quickly. She was calling me everyday saying stuff was selling out quickly. I do love everything I have though and use it a ton so it's been worth the $.
I agree with you. I do not have the time to stalk outlets. I buy what I like and enjoy it. I am happy for anyone who buys FP or outlet, whatever makes you happy. We know with coach it will end up somewhere on sale so you have to decide buy now or wait. I am not someone who likes to wait for anything [emoji23] e*bates and store rewards are the best!! No driving around and searching I just sit and wait for UPS to arrive
True; one outlet in my area said they don’t do found orders and were very rude. So I went to another outlet to get what I was hoping to get and was successful.
In the new york area (Woodbury/Jersey outlets), they are minimally helpful because they get enough traffic that they make lots of sales without even trying. I feel for them because it's busy and that can't be easy, but also it's a bummer because for once you actually really do need an SA's help to get the bag you like at the price you want. Maybe this also explains why I hardly ever see deletes.
